This is one of those threads that can get me in trouble. Because to those that say no, I say who the fuck cares and why would you even bother posting? But since that is the actual question of the thread I will refrain from ranting and raving.

Either way, I already preordered it. I guess, just like it'll be when the game comes out, I'm just way ahead of you guys.

Like I said in the post you just quoted, only a fraction of the cast is known so far. That a character is gone does not mean that another character with a similar play style won't be appearing. We already know from the footage that's available, for instance, that Natsu will probably be at least somewhat similar to Taki. And yet, people are already pledging to not buy the game unless such-and-such deconfirmed character comes back. That isn't "liking a playstyle," it's fanboy-/fangirlism of the worst variety.
 
Definitely buying it. Sure there are some characters I would be sad to see go, but if they do, well, such is life. Especially given how back stage the story is in SC, its hard to be particularly attached to a character as a whole. There are characters who's visual aesthetic and gameplay I like, but there's not a single character who has a story I'm invested in.

Which is honestly something I think fighting games in general could do better.
 
Theirs a good chance I will buy SCV but I can't help but be frustrated that favorite character(Nightmare) has not been confirmed, well...the new nightmare at least. I can try to be happy with Siegfried but I need my favorite on it. Its a bond thing, don't ask. Also they need to make sure making custom characters is just epic because making characters is one of the most beast things in SC.

I mean, Probably.
Thinking of pre-ordering it a my local Gamestop around Christmas time.

Even if some of my fav characters don't make it, I'll still enjoy the game and try out some of the new characters.

Siegfried,Pryyha,and Patroclus will probably be my mains. Oops almost forgot about Tira and Ivy, how silly of me.

Anyways, Can't wait till it comes out (whenever that is).
