Lol, Caspian and the God Squad's .. bla bla bla

I have no idea about calibur nation cause facebook, but what the hell is up with this Squad shit? It starts to seem more people have their own personal defense force you have to go through / multiple people to fight. You have to go through 80 mooks to fight someone that actually matches a bit.

This is just the general vibe i get from joining shit player matches, and having to fight players from all ranges.

It's like some people need a god damn support group telling how awesome they are every second they play this game. And lobbies turn into you VS them. And the shits glorify a single win combined from 10 losses. This game isn't you vs a group. Some peeps don't realize they are losing in a single vs score, and in a combined score, but relish a single victory, like they won everything.

I guess this post turned into some weird (insert name) squad counter post. But pretty sure USA has this shit too. Some peeps need to stand on their own legs in this game. If you combine the stats.. statistically you need even more peeps consistently beating a single person.

Phew, should have made a thread of my own in some forums : ] But you mentioned a single player, Caspian, and a squad, so I blame you for this. So caspian needs a support group.. bah.

Ps. Oh shit I lost, was exposed, well it was a good run. Wait.. no :b

The reason why they try to form groups is for social ostracism. The satisfaction of simply hating someone for rage quitting on you, or sending you hate mail isn't enough, it's all abut getting 3rd party people to hate them as well. And the social reaffirmation of "well this player is talked about highly by his 5 of his friends, so he MUST be a GREAT player and nice!" Then when you play that player, you realize they suck, and / or that they aren't a nice person at all. Having a "Squad" or a "Team" is basically them trying to reaffirm to themselves they're apart of a group.

The same goes for people who make "Walls of Shame". It's not like the people on the shame box are going to hurt anyone, other than quitting or booting people, but a Wall of Shame is implemented as a means for a person to extend their hatred for another player beyond that of themselves. AKA "Hey there buddy! Did you see [this player]? No, never played them? Well if you do run into them, make fun of them because they're a scrub!"

Calibur Nation works exactly like that. A community based on gang mentality, rather than social unity.

WingedPirate is a well known and openly admitted rage quitter.....Congrats on giving him a spotlight.

Now that's interesting, he's open admitted to being a quitter which means he doesn't care about status. That just begs the question, why does he choose to quit games in the first place? For himself maybe?

Speaking of quitting, the other day I was in a Player Match and I noticed that whenever I choose a CaS the host didn't like, we'd always lose the connection. He literally says "Why are you picking the same character with different faces!? It's boring!" and then the game lags out before the game even starts (it happens on the card screen). This happened twice; is this moron lag switching or what?

...and if I want to play the same character over and over, I'll play them over and over. I wasn't even using the same character over anyway. The characters I used were all different models, voices, and play-styles; they just shared the same uniform.
