Pyrrha Omega General Discussion

What would OMEGA PYRRHA be without TAS B? Her name even sounds OP lmao. If the unlock rule is implemented, she won't be tournament viable. I'm sure Project Laziness-- I mean Soul, took the proper steps to fix the move.

Unlocking never prevented characters from being played in tournies. It's system specific DLC that is the problem, which, as far as we know, isn't a issue here in SC5.

236A is SCIV Cassandra's 236:(B)

The just frame launcher version isn't a just frame anymore? Can you still repeat it 5x for a long air juggle? (which will be much easier without the repeated just frame requirement)
What's her 236B like then?
Does she still have lots of auto-gi moves like Cass did? (those would be much more useful when regular gi's take meter)
And, I have to ask this, is her critical edge based on Cass's critical finish like most of the other critical edges were?

Some mod/admin should def rename the thread properly: SCV TAS B general discussion.

But seriously, in SC4, step G clockwise hard and take your free mix-up on block/punish on whiff. If you aren't getting spammed with TAS B, then that's when you should be scared the most.

People are saying it shouldn't be as bad because of quick step and the over all faster movement in the game, but without step G, quick step won't save you from a floated, retracking 236 ~ 236B.

Wow, I can see it now: o.Pyrrha does an attack that stuns her opponent, then she does a JF 236 A to launch them. She does JF 236 A once or twice more to continue the juggle, then....TAS B to finish off the juggle, takin' away 75% of the opponents health, or death....!

Depends on how much it tracks in SC5, it might not retrack at all on a 236~236B input removing the need for Step G or quick step might move you far/fast enough anyways to beat it. I was never all that scared of it in SC4, sure it hurts when you get hit by it (especially at tip range), but on whiff its free damage for me and on block a free mixup for me. Any Sophie just mindlessly spamming out TAS B is a free win.

Yup. I wonder what her brave edges are. Jesus Christ. If they even had enough time to add any.
Her BE deletes lower tier characters from the character select screen thereby making the game more balanced by only letting you pick the stronger of the cast. The damage is a little low for my tastes however.

Her CE is pretty good too.

Gotta love that mentality. Why don't we bring back the knockdown on 2KB? Can we bring back Doom Combo too? I mean, maybe you guys shouldn't ban Hilde, maybe you should just deal with it. Algol's Bubble Shield? Deal with it. Twin Angels Spam B. But, of course, you played Ivy, with JCS. I'm not surprised you say: "Deal with it."

Pyrrha Omega (that's her real name, not Omega Pyrrha) has:
- TAS
- Cass' old 236K (it gave advantage on block in SCIII)
- Cass' SCIV 236B (charged, screw BBCode) which is done by 236A but is much slower so I'm not sure if 236A into 236A is a combo
- Sophitia's unblockable WR A+B which actually sucks because you can do either the non-UB version or the fully unblockable version (even if you hold A+B for a moment it keeps on charging, just like Asta's 3B now)
- Cass' 1K with a different animation (jumps higher, probably slower startup)
- Sophitia's SCIV 6B,A (or was it 6A,B?), 66B, WR K
- Pyrrha's 4K, B+K,B:4, 3A+B (not sure if that's the command - I'm talking about a two-hit attack which hits grounded)

Her CE is a series of attack dealing damage, nothing special when it comes to properties.

Also, one of Pyrrhas (not sure which) has clean hit on one of her throws. I think that's B+G throw of normal Pyrrha.

I don't remember anything else, sorry.

Hmm...

Thanks for the info Di

Guess I'll just have to try her out myself when I get the game. I see a lot of good tools, but I'm not sure if this moveset is for me :(
