I still think inDesign is the most useless program ever.
I just used photoshop to do all my lab assignments. You can't even tell the fucking difference.
HA. CHEATING THE SYSTEM. *dropkicks system*

you're only cheating yourself there. especially if you're going to major as an illustrator. knowing how to work as many programs as you can is a good look on your resume. even if you're proficient with photoshop. that's like everybody in the art field. knowing how to command illustrator, photoshop, indesign, flash, quirk, and a few others... looks more appealing to employers. throw in some programs that would come from left field, Final cut studio, premiere, after effects, avid, maya, painter makes you look more versatile, but makes you more valuable as you'll be able to communicate with other departments. or you might end up like me, someone who signed up as an animator but apparently got the job of an editor. funny how life works.

but whatever...

but depending on what you want to do in life, some of those programs are job requisites. i.e. you need to know those programs.

considering that a strong portion of illustration goes to ad campaigns...
you're going to need to know how to work indesign as well as flash.

but then you might not be going for that. you might be going for something else completely in which case, it's still a good idea to learn the program if only to add it to your resume as glitter.

Oh I know how to work the program pretty well, actually, I just don't like it, so I just end up doing most, if not all of the work in photoshop.

(^ ^);;;

do you. can't say that i approve but if that's you, that's you. (^ ^)V
still, that wasn't my point.
remember,
it's not what you know. it's what you can prove.
having some awesome shit from each program in your flatbook makes employers happy.
but meh. if you can work the program, you can just whip something up whenever so it comes back to
if that's you that's you. *shrug*

Happy belated Birthday.

Thanks man. We didn't do much though, the GF and I met my family at Outback and then we went home to smoke and watch the Home Improvement marathon on TV Land.

It was relaxing and just what I needed.

Four vodka cranberries enhanced the experience.

my 18th birthday is in 4days, and guess what my present is...
GETTING KICKED OUT! lol.
fuck my mom, stupid bitch.

Thanks everyone, but it's 24... nothing cool happened.

The only thing I have to look forward to now is 25 which will lower my car insurance significantly, then I'll have a party. And you're all invited.

And I miss youuuu.
Like the DEVILS MISS LORRAINE.
(yes, I messed up the lyrics on purpose)

Then you'll get in a druken accident, and your car insurance will go through the roof.

Random: I have been to 8 Chicago Blackhawks games this year. I have tickets for one more on the 5th of February. It is the hottest ticket in town and it is amazing that women dress so fine at a blue collar event that hosts the largest salary income for those attending (higher than even the PGA). I go to see checking and hitting and finesse and raw reflexes, and I end up seeing all of that and some of the most beautiful women in the world dressed to kill. ....of course, I try to only have eyes for my date, but there are times when I am a mere human and my eyes wander just a tad ;-)

Random: How many of you got "laid"?
I'm not trying to shun you or anything.
But, I'm rather curious. I'll start. Still a virgin.

out of curiousity, why do you want to know how many people on here have actually gotten laid or not?

let me brace myself for your verbal brilliance. okay go.
