Might as well wait for Tekken 8's announcement and release date before dropping SCVI, cuz why not. -_-

I mean DBZ is coming in like 2 weeks, so i dunno it just a suggestion. They didn't even done the Breakdown for Mitsurugi yet, so i was thinking that they just want to focus of DBZ right know until it will release very soon (which is some where end of January)


On a serious note, i highly doubt it. We're getting something in a week or a little more than that. Taking this long means that not only are they implementing a new character (or two) in the new built, but also drastically changing it from the previous one to look even more pleasing and polished. They did that with SCV. Heck, in earlier development stages Patroklos was spelled "Patroclus":

Didn't knew about the Patroclus thing lmao, well i hope you're right, i think it's time for some SC6 new infos and reveals!

Maybe they renamed him from Patroclus to Patroklos in order to not bring the real Patroclus down, out of respect.

Lol, that was a typo because SCII spelled Patroklos right.

All I hope is that SC6 doesn't turn into "half the roster as DLC" just like Dissidia NT or Injustice 2 (it's exaggeration, I know, but I'm not fond of the "pay the price of a full game for a third of the characters").

Dissidia NT was arcades for a little over a year vs Tekken 7 being in the arcade for a little more than 2 years before coming to console.

Injustice 2 launch roster was more than fine imo, you can say that the season pass is overprice at 40 bucks on which i will absolutely agree with you. But Injustice 2 at launch had a good amount of overall contents.

28 characters, 9 more added as DLC, and you have to pay 60 bucks for the 9 DLC characters... I really hate that kind of way of doing things. Hope SC6 won't get the same treatment which, so far, looks like it might actually be the case (if the 20 chars roster is true and Vergeben's hearsays are true).

28 characters at launch, where everyone is unique with no clone and mimics, and every characters have unique gameplays, and with the gear system that gives a lot of costume possibilities (and again that are all unique, unlike Tekken 7 , TTT2, or CaS in SC where 90% of customization pieces are common to all characters), i think it's fine don't you? ( and it's 40 $, 60 if you buy them separately.)

Yeah that's also true, the fact the characters were unique was really good :) So is customization (though some outfits look butt ugly xD). What I find a pity is that they cut various characters from the first game... And I didn't see there was that $40 season pass, I thought there was only one ($20 for 3 characters). But again, I'm really against DLC so I'm biased on that one ^^

I'd be ok with SC6 DLC if it's about "clones", not if they do cut Hilde or Zasalamel.

Edit: also, knowing that Dissidia NT will have 27 characters at launch (and they cut chars from 012) and the devs are aiming at 50 characters... That game will cost a lot >_<

NRS games when they come to single player content is Top-Tier. Soulcalibur use to be at the Top with good single player content. It'll be very disappointing if SCVI a reboot of SC1 had less single player content than the Dreamcast version. SC1 on Dreamcast is #4 for the highest rated games of all time on Metacritic.

SCVI is going to get a season pass like Tekken 7 & Dragon Ball Fighter Z. Soulcalibur NEVER got good support after SCIV & SCV were released. That's usually the best way for post launch support. It's better than no balance patch to fix OP characters, but fixing it only on the PSP version is just lazy.

Actually the Injustice pass that gives 9 characters is 20 bucks on sales on EU store, for someone who like the game 20 is a good price considering what if offers.

Now that where i don't agree, they didn't put some characters from the first game but put a lot more new characters that weren't in Injustice 1, you realize that if they put all of all character roster may end having 70 characters? You think it's a good idea?

Clones aren't OK imo, DLC or not, if clones should be in they just need to be premium Skins like in Injustice 2, it's funny that Namco are the ones that invented this concept with Tekken 2 having Roger and Alex or Tiger/Eddy in Tekken 3, now with their recents games (SCV, TTT2, bears in T7) they are doing it all wrong like with the clones in separates slots i their last games, while NRS took that idea and use it just like the genius Old School Namco.

For me clones like Panda et Kuma in Tekken 7 is just a cheap way to fill slots, if you have 28 characters then let it be, why do you have put more 2 clones like that to make it feel it's 30 characters? because it won't change that there are 28 characters. (which again isn't a bad thing lmao). It doesn't make sens to me and it feel lazy and cheap imo.

I don't know much about Dissidia and never been interest about this game, tho i'm an absolute fan of FF RPG games.

I absolutely hope so man, dunno about the others but i personally not too interest in waiting other 5 years to get more new contents and updates related to SC.

(Basically the only thing that some people want to get after SC6 is SC7 5 years later, i think some people don't realize the benefits of post launch contents)

What I mean with "clone" is what people complain about: similar styles (Sophitia and Cassandra, Raphael and Amy). If I have to pay for Xiba, NO WAY! xD These kind of stupidities should be free (or even pay me to get cringy characters like Xiba-Leixia-Natsu).

There is a big difference between post-launch support and DLC-only policy. If they add a character for like $5 with, for example, a little story, CaS parts and weapon skins (for them and/or other), that would be fine by me. If it's just adding a character for the sake of it... That's kinda meh.

I personally do like Xiba, the character was not developed enough but i think he had a lot of potential.

I agree, for me too these are different styles, but people keep calling them clones :P However, about Amy, she's fine as Viola, her previous style is fine as a DLC (or CaS-only, to bother people ^^).

Exactly, balance updates & characters keep a fighting game around longer. Look at SFIV, the game came out in arcade at the same time SCIV was released on console. The game had updates every year for balance & characters. SFV came out in 2016. NRS support a new MK or Injustice game for at least a year before the next game is announced a year later.
