SCV Live Broadcast On Thursday 12/22

Today, Daishi mentioned via Twitter that the next Soulcalibur V broadcast from their offices in Tokyo, Japan, will take place on Thursday, December 22nd. In this broadcast, the developers will be showcasing matches featuring Xiba, Yoshimitsu, Cervantes, and Aeon, along with something yet to be announced.

I will let the readers speculate on what else may be shown or announced during this broadcast, so make sure to tune in to the broadcast on Thursday and follow @Daishi_CALIBUR for all of the latest Soulcalibur V developments.

4 fuckin' AM....Dammit.....Now I have to figure out whether or not I want to try and wake up that early, or try to stay up that late. Hmmm...I think I might just take my chances and try to catch an archive...

 

Yeah I end up watching the archives anyways. Can we confirm that it will be archived anyone?

 

If for some reason I'm still awake then (I hope not, lol), I'll be sure to catch it. Most likely, though, I'll have to wait for the archives of it to be posted.

I'm willing to bet, with every ounce of my soul, that the giant piece smack in the middle of character selection will crack apart to reveal new characters. As I've stated before, I certainly do not think its a timer.

Or alternatively, several new reveals as well for the bottomost row. =D

Now that we know Dampierre took up a slot, that makes 6 slots left, right?I'm thinking, Zasalamel, Yunseong (or replacement), Talim, Setsuka (or replacement), Bangoo, then an Edgemaster/DLC/Bonus Characters.

Setsuka/Talim/Zasalamel...I can imagine the twitter feeds and forum posts now....but I doubt it will be a character reveal lol

 

I think that "And also..." happened, because of Twitter's character limit (140). You can write longer Tweets in Japanese than in English (you can see the Tweet cutting off, because it doesn't have a link to the stream, unlike the Japanese one). If you Google Translate the original Tweet, the last sentence looks something like this:
"You're also premiered the characters that play more videos!"

Now, before you get all excited about "omg character reveals", I must remind you about the NEC stream with Bibulus and Yoshi-san. IIRC, Yoshi-san kinda promised that in their next stream, they'd get players from their dev team on the stream, who would know how to use these lesser shown characters (like Voldo and Hilde). The sentence could mean that... or character reveals, what do I know. If someone could do a proper translation of that Tweet, it might clear some confusion.

I hope to show us some new characters at last...!!!

 

As much as I'd love for it to be Taki or Talim, I'm thinking it's probably some other mode like theater or new practice options or something equally disappointing.

The other way around, Japanese time is ZA FUTURE. They are all Dec 22.

 

Just look at the times I have posted, you can't go wrong. Or just wait for the archive to be posted.
