An African chick similar in design to Sheva's tribal outfit from RE5 with a machete or hatchet would be my new SC wifey
 
Also Hwang, possibly Rock ("Is ****ing huge" is about all he has as far as "supernatural" goes), Li-Long. Mi-Na would fit if not for the "male".
 
Agree with Idle. I'd really rather not see anymore goths, emos, halloween monsters, "unknown" (yawn) bio data, excessive non-ageing and made up kingdoms (which I'm afraid chucks Hilde off the"realistic" list). As was mentioned, solidly designed, real world characters wielding actual weapons (with some creative liscence) are surely preferable to camp looking quasi-bikers who attack with amorphous, crescent-moon shaped wolf puppets....?
 
We need a templar woman with Mi-na's old Morning Star mace weapon from SB.

a mace and pole-arm - killing two birds with one stone~

I would love to see a person who fought bare-handed(could be from anywhere really) (Gloves/claws and greaves(Probably not greaves since that would probably cause some problems with the CAS) would probably be used for weapons, and Bear hands can be his joke weapon), and a Celtic magic staff user/druid(Time to get high fantasy in this bitch)
 
Well...I would wished if Project Soul and SNK PLAYMORE the makers of Samuri Shodown got together i would like to see some of those fighters into the Soul Calibur Series, At least a cpl characters such as:Hanzo comparison to Taki or Charolette to raphael, or Haou Maru vs Mitsurugi!!! that could make it into the Series.

that is something i WISH could happen chances of that is Unlikely.....

Im personally A Fan of Samuri Shodown myself and Love the game i just wish it was for ps3 too.... my Favorite character in the game is Kyoshiro!!! just cause he's flipping Awesome IMO!!! anyways....I seen this tread and thought to give my opinion.

Since there were stages set in Egypt, I wouldn't mind seeing an Egyptian or Arabian character. Aztec and Zulu, however...I don't think so and they don't really fit with what was already given. The Zulu kingdom didn't even exist until 1816 (ended 1897) and SCV is set in 1607.

Well, as far as the Zulu goes, I just really want the spear+shield fighting style. I'm sure it was used by others before the Zulu.

I was thinking of what an Egyptian could wield... What is that weapon that's like a shortsword that's curved around on itself almost like a hook? For some reason I'm thinking aklys, but I don't think that's right.

And yes, we need brunettes. European doesn't=blonde, but try to explain that to Namco, lol.

Oh, and we need a villain Asian character! All our villains are European (with the exception of Zasalamel). But not another "bwahahaha, I'll devour your soul!" character. I'd like to see a cold and calculating villain. A normal human (not malfested), who's very intelligent and schemes to get the swords to gain limitless power or something and will kill any who stand in his way.

Dutch independence isn't recognized for 39 years after SC5 (though 80 Years War is as good a motivation for SE seeking as anyone else has)

Do we even know Salia's nationality (if we are discussing nationality)? I can't find any origin for the name, though I'd have to guess she's from somewhere in the HRE given her presence in the merc group.

I always thought a Shiki-esque character was perfect for Soul Calibur.
