Cassandra did place higher than Amy in the poll, so it would be rather weird for them to put Amy instead of her.

That was why I was saying and wondering how they would handle Amy and/or Viola on VI, since it's an interesting situation they have they can work with, with it being a reboot and all, they can do whatever they want in regards to that if they wanted.

I guess you have your answer to that question xD Reboot where neither of them is included is the safest option xD
 
If they focus on the retelling part, Amy can use Viola's style without any problem, Aeon can use his V moveset, and so forth.

While I don't mind similar styles (Raph/Amy, Sophie/Cass), I simply hope they won't get rid of the unique styles to include similar ones. I'd prefer Hilde over Cassandra, though I also like Cassandra ^^

Yeah, they need to bring back Hilde, and Zasalamel that guy was freaking cool xD he didn't get enough love :(

I think it is likely Cassandra is back, she gets a lot of love from team Soul as kinda the comic relief of the series, in side series she is always prominent and stuff. That said Cassandra was going in a interesting direction in IV with a lot of key shield moves and bashes and a strong ring out game, so maybe she gets to rock a knuckle + small shield combo. All said and done I hope she is back, cuz main characters and I'm lazy to find another secondary.

The LS comment is interesting, I wonder...

Algol's divisive, but was really good to play as (broken on IV, but high tier on V I recall) while Hilde had her doom combo on IV, but still remained fairly popular on V.
It seems pretty simple at this point when you think about it.
If they are going to keep to SC1 thru 3 like it sounds like they are, then whichever leftovers worth adding that they didn't have at launch would be obviously DLC , then of course Hilde and Algol.
The biggest question is what exactly happens with ZWEI and Viola/their movesets.
 
As I already said somewhere, I'll be fine if SCVI has a small roster, even the debated 20, but only if we'll know that another game will come out 3ish years after it, where we'll get new characters.

I like her and think she's an interesting character both in design, origin, and moveset/style. All she lacked was a bit more direction/motivation outside of "I must kill Mitsurugi!"
SCV had her move on off-screen, become a martial arts master (hence the whole Alphokolos thing), but that didn't even get to fully happen on-screen or was reflected in even showing her even in a lazy ass sketch in the story.
I feel like she was a very "missed opportunities" type character previously. If she does return, and I personally think she will, then I'm curious how she might be handled differently this time. I'd obviously expect her feud with Mitsurugi to be revisited, but I hope that isn't the be all, end all to her character. Especially after that is "resolved."

You're at least getting 2 newcomers that I know about and at least one guest character (per console version) so there's that.
