Even if there was an announcement regarding the future of SC, I actually don't believe that the outcome would be any good. Namco's prime franchises have been ruined over the past years: SC, Ridge Racer, and even Tekken was disappointing for me. I don't expect anything good.

To be honest I have same fears. Tekken was always the main fighting game franchise of Bamco, while SC was less funded compared to it because Bamco cared less.
But right now even Tekken 7 seems rushed (feels rushed...after more than two years on Arcades) and underfunded, I'm just afraid of what could come out of SC6 if even Tekken was hurt.

How the game feels in general to you feels cheap? The extra content is a lil dry, but they have to sustain this game for like three or four more years so they're not about to blow their load on the first season IMO. As opposed to before the season pass hustle existed you HAD to leave it all out there because with no other budget coming in to sustain the game that was it. I feel like you're not about to get a complete picture of the game for at least another 2 years because of the new formula. The extra content aside, the fighting feels good to me(Offline at least which is every fighting game ever).

Gotta agree on that. Even though i only play tekken for a couple characters and because its the only playable thing out there its by far the most fun tekken ive played so far.

There is two problems with T7 - buggy as shit online that apparently not going to be fully fixed any time soon and severe lack of content. And if Tekken can get away with it and just add stuff later, fate of SC6 if this will be the case is being abandoned just like SCV. That's what I fear about this situation.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series has sold 15 million copies, excluding Storm 4.

Since...Tekken 7 was a total let down for me because of all the bugs and glitches it had that namco refuses to fix ESPECIALLY on the online mode, and Namco doesn't seem to give a shit about the SC scene anymore, AND is in the process of making one of their games a gambling machine, it feels like Namco somewhere on the road lost respect for their games entirely and pissed on their fans. I fear that's exactly what's going to happen with SC6 if it ever does come out at some point.

Well, that was a whole lot of nothing. And this is the great Sony the fanboys hype up? That rep just spewed PR bullshit and told us what we already knew or had little of value.

Well I noticed that www.soulcalibur.com throws you on the bamco website, and there I found no mention of soulcalibur, even after browsing the games section for a while. This could mean two things... I'm on the side of well it's fucking dead. Not happy to be on that side but well, I am.
