I'm 100% sure they made her go barefoot with that in mind. Fite me.
I know that Fated Retribution updated Tekken's graphics. That was not my point. That's what i found from T7 October 2014 Location test, if you have more and BETTER screens quality, you can post them.
Main point and what is important to notice here is that Tekken 7, which is a game using same engine as SC6 looked way better when it was release compare to its first reveal. (and there are many videos on youtube if you wanna see more of it by yourself. In case)
I disagree about GG, game looks great, but mainly because of its art design, graphically wise it's great but nothing mindblowing.
Injustice 2 looks great as well, but it's 2D. 2D games are easier to make than 3D because movements are limited. Also Tekken 7 has real time stage transition, in Injustice it's cinematic.
Also another point is that Injustice 2 runs 30 fps when there are Super Moves/ Or Stage Transitions. Tekken 7 is 60 fps all the time.
True - i still love to play older games (not only because of nostalgia)In my humble yet contested opinion, graphics aren't everything... if you take San Andreas, the game was really ugly for the era and the console, yet it was one of the bet games to ever exist.
Quality of content > quality of graphics
Beauty fades, but feelings of a wonderful gameplay and complete stories remain. Too bad dev focus on short but beautiful games rather than on long and average looking ones...
Not really, all of Sophitia's stages from Soul Edge - Soulcalibur III were called Eurydice Shrine, with a different subtitle. So yeah, it's in the same area, but it's not the same place.Ohh and I just realized that new SC6 stage has the same name as SC3 Sophitia's. It's the same place :)

Guilty Gear Xrd is not mind blowing but Tekken 7 with its low polygon models, is. Injustice 2 is one of the best looking games of this generation and its facial animations top notch. Frame rate is not a problem in those areas, they are not playable. It can be jarring but that's what you get when you chase the cinematic feel.
Soulcalibur VI faces the same problems that Tekken 7 did. Graphics are not that great (low polygon models, low resolution textures, shadows etc) but they don't have to be. Not every game needs to be a graphical powerhouse.
The Order 1886 anyone?Obviously you can make the best looking game ever if your game have limited choices gameplay in a super small era. One of the reason on why a game like Heavy Rain looked super good graphically wise at its time. also you can add graphics if you limit the color palette (another tech some devs use).
The Order 1886 anyone?
Yup! Lol you remembered my username when I literally didn't. Hah! Good times.Kazya, correct? How's it going? We haven't seen you in a long time in the forums. Yeah, those were the days lol. And they will return when they buff Juri for season 3![]()
Personally speaking about SCV, i was so disappointed about SC4 that i didn't have any expectation about the game, but it ended up being a great Soul Calibur game, there were things that could have been better, but the game was still overall very good, and even godlike in some aspects, and easily way better SC4 (SC4 is the my least favorite SC game.)
God i am glad to hear that they are taking the emphasis away from long combos. The 2 most important vgame webs in Spain (that gameplay video and another one) say the next about the demo:
- Reversal Edge: Sudden Rock/paper/scissors kinda moment to help newbies have some chance against pro players. Pro players are not gonna like it but they assume it won't be used in pro gaming.
- SCVI is really agile, it gives more importance to being tactical, side-stepping and finding a chance to punish the opponent rather than using infinite combos like in SCV.
- Its a re-interpretation of the story of SCI. Thats why we will see many chars from SCI and SCII and some from III. Also new ones and guest ones. But the main intention is to see the most classic and charismatic characters of SC shinning again.
-It reminds A LOT of the first installments of the saga cause 1 good hit might be more important that a whole long combo.
- Critical Edges are very easy to execute an hit (as in SCV), but they dont take as much life as in other fighting games. Still can't say if they can be comboed on air.
- New Mechanic: Soul Charge makes your weapon shine and hit harder for some seconds consuming 1 bar.
