Regarding this, we actually had Voldo Dance 5's choreography done.
Sadly, we didn't had time to produce it as real life caught up.
How many of you guys still wanna see it? :P
I do ;-)))

Fire breathing, twin axes/axe&shield wielding Lizard > puny humansThe issue with Aeon is that the way his character is presented doesn't really give any reasons for people to like him aside of a very meh moveset. Yes, he is "unique" in appearence, but everything else about him is incredibly bland and he himself has no importance whatsoever. The thing is that, the only way people may end up bonding with him right now, is having his human side focused so we can feel for him when he becomes a lizard, but even then, people will end up asking for him to get back to his human form again, which beats the purpose of turning him into a lizard. None of the games ever showed any effort to make us like his monster form, so its hard to see it happening without help of his human form.
Thank youFire breathing, twin axes/axe&shield wielding Lizard > puny humans
Being a cool Lizard > being bland "important, deep human character audience can relate to"
Yeah, no, it really isn't.Fire breathing, twin axes/axe&shield wielding Lizard > puny humans

Barely anybody cares about stuff you mentioned ("feeling for him", "bonding with him", most people don't even pay this much emotional attantion to the story), everyone just wants a cool Lizard.Yeah, no, it really isn't.
Barely anyone cares about Aeon, actually, the latest popularity poll had both Lizardman and Aeon (they were different, likely because of the movesets) even lower than some SC5 characters. Also, I fail to see why should he be tragic, I don't recall making mention of that. Also, again, just because YOU don't care about other aspects of the characters, specifically those that actually make him unique, it doesn't mean that its what the majority cares about, you speak for yourself.Barely anybody cares about stuff you mentioned ("feeling for him", "bonding with him", most people don't even pay this much emotional attantion to the story), everyone just wants a cool Lizard.
Most characters are liked for - looks, playstyle, BASIC personality traits.
Besides we already have shitton of tragic characters with expansive backstory and making Aeon one more of those (on top of making him human) is what truly would make him bland.
Being a fire breathing armored axe wielding Lizard already makes him more unique than most other characters by a mile, everything you proposed will make him anything, but more unique, it will be the opposite actually.specifically those that actually make him unique
You mean the moveset that is the same as Kratos'? Yeah, very unique indeed...Being a fire breathing armored axe wielding Lizard already makes him more unique than most other characters by a mile, everything you proposed will make him anything, but more unique, it will be the opposite actually.
Is there currently anything like that in the roster? No?You mean the moveset that is the same as Kratos'? Yeah, very unique indeed...
I think, if they were to make him human he'd have to somehow have a better design as a human than he does as a lizard for him to look interesting enough to want to play as (which I can't conceptualize). If he's just a bland looking human character, would people even recognize him as the Lizardman? If he isn't a lizard, people might not even correlate him with that, they'd say "wheres the lizard?" as his design as a lizardman is what made him stand out. To give him a deeper story, they'd have to just emphasize why being a lizard sucks or why it toils on his mind or more so talk about the god that cursed him and betrayed him to show his damnation. Him being a lizard doesn't nullify him getting a deep story if they just emphasized everything else - or the worst aspects from the gods around it.Barely anybody cares about stuff you mentioned ("feeling for him", "bonding with him", most people don't even pay this much emotional attantion to the story), everyone just wants a cool Lizard.

I’ll agree, plus he seemed happy as a lizard in SC3.Let's face it, most people don't give a hoot about story or character development or any of that stuff. All that matters is that Lizardman is fun to play and he is. If he became human he would just be another human sword & shield character.
He is not unique. A copy is a copy, it doesn't matter if its from this roster or another. Is there currently anything like that in the roster? No?
He is unique then.
Besides he is not just a mindless copy and paste of Kratos, he just has some of his moves neatly adapted to his own Lizard personality.
Also you're changing themes, as you wasn't talking about moveset before.
They do, actually, and with most of the community not being competitive, I dare say the majority cares about these things. Or what? Do you think MKX and Injustice 2 are leading the market out of gameplay alone? If that was the case, they would be average, not the best. Gameplay is not the only thing that makes a game, otherwise we wouldn't need designs for the characters, we would only have genderless humanoid creatures, with different colors at best. A game having good gameplay is like food being edible, its not there because its a feature, its there because if it wasn't, it simply wouldn't exist. Good games offer more than just gameplay.Let's face it, most people don't give a hoot about story or character development or any of that stuff. At least the games have good graphics when compared to Marvel.Mk has the gore factor. It sells because you can fckin rip peoples heads of, not because of the mediocre story or gameplay.
Injustice sells because it has DC characters which isnt an NRS achievement.
They win the market by 3 things:Do you think MKX and Injustice 2 are leading the market out of gameplay alone?
