Soulcalibur V Live Event on 10/28

Project Soul is presenting a live stream for Soulcalibur V which will be broadcasted from their office at Namco Bandai Games in Tokyo, Japan. The broadcast will begin on Friday, October 28th at 9PM local time. On the broadcast, they will be introducing the game designers, giving lessons on SCV, and playing some casual matches. They will also answer questions submitted through Twitter via the hash tag #SCV_live.

I agree with Baba's disagreement with you cuz you didn't list Cervy there.

It's almost confirmed if we get existing characters in the history like the daughter of sophitia (Phyrra) and we also get the Xianghuan's daghter (the most sure thing is that rock's style will be replaced by his son Bangoooo, all with order of the 17 years after of the history of sciv

Cervantes is a good balanced and funny character to use but like taki and Sophitia he is old and the new namco rule is replace or remove old characters that appear in Soul edge like the mentioned, and remember we have only 4 old characters for come back to SCV!! and they are the not colored slots in my image anyway .Wich character do you think that will come back? , based on popularity of them.

So you're suggesting that another character should replace Cervy and goes by the name of Cervantes Jr.?

But the Namco rule only applies to females, look at guys like Edge Master, Mitsurugi, Olcadan even Cervantes they have the old-man look and are in any of the series. There's no old females in any of the series.

Cervantes has been the character for the Soul Calibur series since Soul Blade (first series) so he's a popular guy (love or hate); there's no doubt he will be in SC5.

Cervantes is not old cause he is eternal...
Zasalamel can resurrect...
Mitsurugi is still in the game so Setsuka still got reasons to be there...
Talim was young in SCIV so he will be older(and weaker cause he is weaker as she gets old)...
Yun Seong now is a grow mature man, so Seung Mina doesn't need to chase him, so goodbye Mina, keep raising your children...

That's my list of returning characters and the reasons... NEXT month SoulProject will bring back Zasalamel and another NEW character(I HOPE SO).

 

Yoshimitsu,Cassandra,Zasalamel and Talim I can be almost sure that those will be the next 4 old confirmed characters remaining, and for the next 8 new remaining characters Kilik's son,Bangoo,Setsuka's daughter (from Mitsu),a new reptaile or monster character, and the other 4 all new Characters! with new art styles of fight and now we got the 30 characters!!... all is just a guess based on facts who agree with me? :)

well i sure hope bangoo dosent make it to sc5, i dont know how he fights but im asuming hell be another axe user character.....no need for that astaroth is already in there,we also dont need cassandra we already have patroclus and pyrah(enough with the sword and shield thing), and talim has a high chance of being in there but....meh, cervantes should make it back that spanish awsome looking pirate,yoshi should be in there also but lets give him a better look! tekkens yoshi looks cooler! (although I hate tekken....) see my point is why bring back a generic axe user(asuming bangoo is an axe user) instead of a new character of the magnitud and creativity as viola and swei? IMO Rock is totally unapealing and looks like a custom created character, I mean seriously.... a guy in his underware with a rhino head on his head.....not cool, its characters like nightmare,viola,swei,tira,ivy that apeal to players! I got interested in soul calibur 2 back in the day cuz i saw this nightmare character with that kick ass sword with an eye on it in an arcade... then i bought it for my gamecube and loved it.

lol Cervantes Jr. you're right with the namco's rules for remove or replace female characters but the thing now is that we don't know in what exactly they based for do it in male characters, maybe the popularity? Cervantes,Zasalamel,Yoshimitsu and for last kilik or Yun-Seong one of they should marry with his girlfriend (Mina for Yun and Xianghan for Kilik) so one of they probably be busy for battles in SCV, my other question is about if they could add a 32 years old Talim (15+17) and what they will do with Cassandra's style (putting the pic again for see it)

I paint it just for a suggestion of Bangoo ,he will not have the fight style of his father at all maybe they change it with a one new but we can stay sure that Rock will not comeback because around of 60 years old is too old for a common character I guess, so Bango could take his place and there will not be a Rock in SCV. I paint for that purpose

do you think so? you are right you know I just noticed with some moves of Patrolcus and 2 Alexandras family memebers is enough for more characters from the same family I will miss the beutiful Cassandra too :( but this things need to happend...
