SoulCalibur V Storyline Theory Thread

There was a host for Soul Edge in the previous games.. She could always be finding a back-up. Isn't that why Tira kidnapped Pyrrha? I think she'd just be searching for more possible hosts..
 
What is this, a never - ending host hunt? If Sophie is Nightmare then I suppose Pat's trying to save her and maybe hopes to convince Pyrrha to help :P She doesn't look like she's corrupted by Soul Edge despite Tira and everything. Sophimare is a real possibility otherwise I can't see what Pat has to do with the swords since his sis does not have a direct link to it presently.
I don't want to believe that they will go with the 'I want power ---> I want Soul Edge' scenario. They said the story was GOOD this time XD
 
Well, seeing that Pyrrha is all alone because of the swords existence, Pat's obsession with JUSTICE, will kick in and he'd want to destroy it for brainwashing his mother, and making his older sister scared of her own shadow.
 
Stop the presses! Pyrrha raised herself, all alone, right? (somehow inheriting Soph's sword and shield out of nowhere) Does she LOOK like someone who was raised by Tira?

Maybe Tira gave them to her and told her it used to belong to her mother. But she put a fragment of Soul Edge in it so she would eventually lose control and become the new host. Then later in the story she whispers in Pyrrha's ear "I killed Mufasa Sophitia" and Pyrrha goes ballistic and succumbs to the influence of Soul Edge and her sword transforms.
 
kinda going off topic..but it seems tira plays a pretty nice role since sc3 right. and has gather some kinda upper hand over some pretty good characters?... now let's make her at least a ''B Tier'' character!
 
I think that Soph gave the weapons to her with her soul inside of it. That way, Pyrrha's sword and shield move on their own and protect her and soul edge has a body to use.

I think Pyrrha knows how to fight with her weapons the same way Sophitia and Cassandra do - they just do. Nobody taught them, and we are not supposed to care - it is not stated anywhere and it´s not really important.

Pyrrha is wielding her very mother´s set of weapons though, so someone has to have given it to her.

Well, where they got their fighting style matters, at least for Pyrrha. It gives a hint of what happened to the other characters. And their fighting styles are too similar so someone had to teach her, so it is important.
