I don't think we'll see Rock, and I think S2 will have more than four. I mean, T7 S2 has six. Wouldn't mind at least one newcomer (preferably female) to join as DLC.

I don't think it's Amy. That story slot was unlocked and it was just using her SCIV look with a CaS outfit. Hwang also had a CaS version of himself used instead of a new model. We don't know what they are doing here, honestly.
The biggest leads we have are... it's male male female, one is a guest, and lizardman already had a not-small amount of work done on him.
Likely either Lizard/Male returnee/female guest (2B?) or Lizard/Female returnee/male guest. There's more female characters in demand to return than male characters, but... Hwang has been missing for a long time and is highly demanded.
They also never spoke of a guest character as if it's absolutely finalized, so there's the possibility it isn't even a part of the season pass and you have to buy it separate, in which case Hwang would basically be a lock and guessing the female returnee would still be a complete crapshoot.

We have no leads. The silhouettes are generic and mean nothing, and they said they're entertaining the idea of a guest but not that it's set in stone especially for S1. Also, as I said, it's unlikely they had the full models finished by the time they were made there, but the fact that they have updated appearances is telling.

I can't see them not bringing back either Cass, Hilde or Setsuka for this round. There is also the point that most of the missing character that are popular are predominantly female.
I'd say it will be Hwang or lizardman, One of the girls, then it's up in the air. But I'm pretty much certain it ain't gonna be rock. One thing people haven't talked about is new/minor characters. I have a weird feeling Dürer could get something, his backstory is way too fleshed out compared to random minor characters. He even has connections to other characters.
My ideal season 1 would be Hilde, Durer, Hwang and Setsuka, with Cass, lizzy and a guest or something for S2. By the looks of the sales I feel well be getting one.
Pretty certain we'll get Cass though.

Durer could also bring back Vader's moveset if they just make it a longsword he's given.

He's also got brand new moves and some balance adjustments to his normals that seem tailored for some sort of later competitive version of him. Also has returning attacks from his older appearances and his SC4 taunt. Design for him also isn't possible to create using CaS. Multiple weapon models, an icon for his weapons, etc. Think he's almost definitely going to get in, he just wasn't finished by release.
It's quite a bit more than we could say about any other character rn.

Hi, I want to agree with you and say that Cassandra also might be DLC, though she doesn't have a 3D model in Libra of Souls (like Hwang and Amy).
I'd say Amy and Hwang have good chances of making it as DLC. I heard that the two armor packs possibly includes clothing options based on these two. If that's the case, it heavily suggests they're inclusion.
Granted, yes the LoS shots are low quality, but I highly doubt they would've had them fully finished and up to par at that point.
It would be great if all three of them end up being the DLC remaining characters.
Though Amy and Cassandra share a few moves with their counterparts, they still have their own unique attacks, different frame data, new designs (we know the SC VI artist didn't meaninglessly give them new designs), Amy has her own 4 stances and Cassandra has her own stance too since SC IV.
Having Hwang/Yun Seong's fighting style would be great, I remember both of them using a Chinese sword (Dao), being moderately fast and having good sword + kick combo's (though I admit I'd like to see Hide and Setsuka again too).
Lastly, I think having one guest in SC VI (Geralt) is enough.

I wish he was the SCIII/IV Lizardman not the SCII Version(Clone of Sophitia reduced to being a NPC with a very limited moveset compared to every other character) & on the Base Roster instead of Inferno(Boss Mode Nightmare).

Since he'd be a poor choice for one of the four characters, I'd much prefer a free update with his cost to be completed being covered by game sales.

It's not that they would be upset that he's in, it's that they'd be charging money for him when he shares a chunk of his moveset with sophitia. If they further declone him or give him a wild new mechanic people would be fine, there just has to be some pretty notable differences so they aren't charging full for a lower effort char
