im pickin this up tomo so if anyone wants to play let me know, by hitting up my PSN mailbox or add me. im lookin to get the game down cuz i havent played tekken since Tag 0_0

TBH, i can't really hit that combo enough times to be exact , but it should be at least 40-45% health if you're playing at 100% health. I find that to hit the DEWGF correctly, the ff+3, 1, ff cancel needs to hit the opponent very deep to get 2 to hit, then the DEWGF. You also need to be freakin fast. (how JI3moon_Ace does this so well is beyond me)

Yeah, his staples are very hard now, what with all the ff+3, 1, ff cancelling now, so i won't even attempt the DEWGF combo online. If you're not too fond of doing all of that, just do the simpler combos like:

EWGF, ff+3, 1, d/f+1, 2, B! d/f+3, 2, 4

This is way easier to do, but only does about 20-25% of the health bar so you won't be getting the maximum damage output you want. You could also do u/f+3 post B! for a little ground laser/b+4 okizeme mixup.
 
Megiddo, ah I see now about the DEWGF. Also, what's your notation for post-B! ff31ff? I see some notations where it's like post-B! ff ff31ff where the additional ff is used to hit ff31ff deep. I find that timing really tricky though and not sure exactly how to get a dash ff31fff smoothly. I get it randomly at times. Right now my combo is just

EWGF, ff31, 2, d/f1+2 B!, pause a bit, ff31ff, d/f4 (lol couldn't get d/f44 to connect yet)

I'm also wondering how to get the ff31ff into 2, DEWGF. There needs to be an additional ff between ff31ff and 2 right? Phew, DJ's combos are no walk in the park now fo sho.

spongebob, I believe B and K are 2P costume and A and G are 1P costume. If that's what you're asking.
 
Well for me, post !B notation would be ff, n, ff+3, 1, ff, 2, run, DEWGF in order to get in deep for the 2, then finish.

For the run part, think of the distance between you and your opponent when you land a WR 2 and follow up with a DEWGF combo. So it would be:

WR 2, run, DEWGF, 1, d/f+1+2, B!, ff+3, 1, ff, EWGF

All commands after DEWGF is just for show. The main point is to practice the speed needed to hit the DEWGF. If you can perfect the timing for this combo, the run>DEWGF will be a lot easier. The hard part is getting in deep with ff+3 and actually hitting the DEWGF.

I'd also like to know your follow ups after a successful EOD (f, n, hcf+1+2) I tend to use d/f+1+2 against back rollers for a free B! combo and to CH any wakeup 3s and 4s. If my opponent decides to play dead, i use d/b+2 and d+3 for a quick tap.
 
The 10 hit combos usaully do way more damage on a counter atack performed from ur opponent as opposed to back stepping or dashing! Once the comp regesters that ur in a state of dominance n ur opponent is trying to deffend all 10 hit combos will automaticly string n link them selves to complete the 10hitter

That happened to me once. It was because I missed the update prompt. Once I downloaded that update, things have been fine. (That's for 360 tho. Dunno if PSN has a similar feature.)
 
so finished the lengthy scenario an had a go at ranked since no1 wanted to play:

Experiences ive had so far (i was expecting them btw)

First guy: A lee kept spamming these really fast kicks that did way too much dmg

Second guy: A law. Sum black guy on his mike says 'yo YUR_GRANDMA whats up'. His connection is shit tier. Start the match he hits me with a string runs forwards starts spamming a buch of strings and quick jabs. Im at the wall and then he starts doing a load of flips. He doesn't do a single juggle the entire match.

Whilst im getting raped he starts shouting 'Ye whos your grandma now bitch' Then 'Then ends his own game...? I didnt even quit but it ended... meh maybe its just tekkens bad online...
 
Um well I played Tekken 6 over a friend's house.
It's a nice game except Yoshi is so low tier T.T.
But getting back on point, I got my first hate mail through mic.
The dude sounded like a jock. He kept yelling how gay I was:
Picking Yoshi and flea hopping my way to victory.
He was using a very nooby and dumb Law.
Now I'm a noob, but this dude was pitiful.

Thats what happened to me lol i put the game in a second time and there was the update and since things have been ok lol
 
Why is Christie one bracket below Eddy?

They are the same sans throws, unless there is a longer limbs issue like in DR or damage differences.

Why is this?

Also, Bob is a complete beast. Definitely top tier.
 
Is it just me or does every ranked match have 3bar connection with HUGE LAG.

because of that lag i know have a 23%win ration.
 
@panda: i cant break throws to save my life... I never see what hand im grabbed with and its not like SCIV where i can just mash a throw break whilst guarding. Or theres a throw there gonna use to RO....

@Angrel-san - pretty sure i heard sumwhere that eddy had more range so was higher tier. In fact i think its sumwhere in this thread lol.

@Lunchspecial: ranked is a joke just like SCIV ranked. Nothing but noobs spamming lows or 10 hit strings. You'll also encounter ultra pro kazuyas spamming UF4444 or sum law jabbing you to death on a 1 connection. I only play player matches atm.

Right ive picked up law and altho im still not that good i think i no longer suck. I still cant do his slide or DSS but i can do basic juggles, wall combos etc. Either way i still get beaten sumtimes by sum scrubs spamming strings. I think i shudnt bother with little jabs and trying to get a whiff and a juggle. I'd probably be much more effective running in abusing random strings and spam backflips at the wall...

Anyay i picked up lili too cause i heard she has easy juggles. She does ive gotten the all down today and they do gud dmg too. Altho i cant find any gud spammable easy to use with her like law has. Any1 got sum?

Also i cant do this combo posted by kane on TZ....

Not any of em. How the heck is uf4 meant to lead to a combo??? I know you have to time it due to d3+4's big launch but no matter what uf4 doesnt seem to juggle them at all. Any1 help?

nvm didnt know that UF meant to hold up forward and then press 4 :D
