How does Mokujin end up in the same bracket as Zafina...?

My turn to ask. Can you multi break a throw by going 1/2/1+2. Just asking since I've seen way too many throws broken in Tekken so far. WAY too many.

um i think it locks in the first button you press... like Calibur.

so you cant get lucky if you press all the buttons and hope to break a throw... if thats what your asking... ^_^

T6 : Broken characters?

So Ive been playing T6 for a while now and I think Ive seen a few odd things, mainly with Law. He seems to have this kick that has the ability to take away about 1/4 of my health bar as well as a few other moves that just rape my face. Is this odd at all or what?

I dont know to much about Tekken because the last one I played was Tekken Tag years ago, so I kinda wanna see what other people have to say about the characters in this game. Not tryin to look like a noob or anything I just wanna be more informed :/

I use Bob, Yoshimitsu, and Bryan and I would have to say that bob is the only one of those three that Ive seen, so far, that has a few over powered moves. Im not sure if having over powered moves necessarily makes them broken but it seems a little ridiculous for ONE attack to have that much power

Tekken players break on reaction by seeing what arm comes out for the throw. 1 break is the left arm, 2 is the right arm, 1+2 is both arms. There isn't any real mindgames to the throws in Tekken, it's just pure reaction time. You don't really need to be that smart to be good at Tekken, just gotta have decent execution and godlike reaction times.

We can't help you with specific moves if we don't know what they are, but some may be punishable on block, some may be easily stepped, etc. Best to try and figure out ways around single moves yourself in practice mode first. More complicated setups and ground traps you can ask someplace like tekkenzaibatsu for help.

how the fuck are all these strings hitting me???!!

Say i do on of laws 3 hit strings. First 2 hits hit, the 3rd is blocked. Then sum douche dus a 10 hit string first hit connects so im there thinking right ust dont do anything and it'll auto guard the rest of the hits. Maybe i can parry that low too. Nope all 10 hits get me.......

I think i shud just pick up jin and spam 1+2 or maybe kazuya's uf4444 yh thats really pro.

Are you playing online? That might explain it lol.

Otherwise just go into practice mode and get the timing for the low parry down. Make sure to hold down/forward for a second too, it's not exactly like guard impacting a move in Calibur. Lastly, don't hate on them just for doing ten strings, back when I just started learning Tekken 5, I was at some lame LAN center tourney, and because I didn't practice low parrying 10 strings ahead of time, lost to some 12 year old scrub doing Law strings. That 12 year old scrub has since learned a ton about the game, and has become Buffalo's best Tekken player.
