When you AS b+K ; 6 a+b do you hold back to shorten the second jump?
When i land AS b+k i almost always whiff over the opponents head on my second jump forward.

Also do you mean to do the 6a a? or is that an input error?

Also, how do you wind charmer into a low sweep as in here

I'm not sure which move you're referring to. Talim doesn't have a move for 44A+B. I know she has a 4A+B but I don't really use that one much, so I'm curious to what move you meant.

As for your other question, I try to always hold down 4 during the AS A+B followup to AS B+K. That way it usually keeps me from doing as you said and whiffing over the opponent's head.

That's WC A+K if I recall correctly, a good move to throw once in a while cause I think it is safe(I don't know for sure). But not too much cause you can ofcourse be BB'ed out of it (as they can with every transition move almost though)

Ohh okay. Yeah 22_88 B is great for extra grounded damage and it allows for decent WL or AS options on wakeup. It's also the best option she has after sidestepping a move since it's a launcher.

And yeah WC A+K (low sweep) is safe, it's just really easy to see coming most of the time. It does hit grounded though at certain angles. And since it looks almost like 1A (which is unsafe) most people try to retaliate after blocking it, usually resulting in a GI attempt.

Nice to see your Talim in action, Eclair. I especially liked the 1A+B setup after a blocked BB. (around 1:25) This may sound dumb, but I've only recently figured out that move was a mid. It really looks like a high, but it's even more useful now. A 17 frame mid that KDs, and TCs under throws? I'll take it.
 
Yea, i was testing how effective 1A+B is now and i figured it wasn't such a bad move.

I tried to program it into my head to do 1A+B every time nightmare does GS A.

Keep in mind that my friend hasn't played talim enough to block her WS A low on reaction.
 
Nice vids Eclair, I just wanted to point something very minor but...at 0:40 in your Eclair (talim) vs Engared(Nightmare) 3 match you could have ringed him out with FC 3BB 6 AS A+B I think. Just something very minor. Otherwise you play your Talim very smooth, I love to watch it :D.
 
Prymo- Think they both woulda RO but ya the win probably woulda gone to Talim (unless the Nighty did some slick air control).

Good Talim, that Nighty's learnin and is gonna get tougher (I think).
 
Nice vids. Especially the last one. The Nightmare player was doing some tricky stuff there, and the WC B*B GB into 66A+B finish was nicely done.

I noticed you were missing with the AS B:K JF quite a bit. That used to happen to me too, but I found there's an easy way to do it. When you do AS B, press K right afterward and hold the button. So it's basically AS B[K]. For some reason it registers as you did the JF and should come out 100% of the time, instead of actually trying to time the K when AS B hits. This is the only JF that does this to my knowledge. (Sorry Setsuka and Tira fans)

Anyway good stuff there. Abuse 1A and AS A while you still can... you'll miss them when they're gone.

I usually manage to get the JF off most of the times, was just a tad lazy with the timing that day. But thanks for the tip zero.

I'll post most videos of some more serious talim play after our sunday session :)
