If you release too much products at time you put the customers in the olbigation of choosing.

You can think "well, you can buy some now and the rest later" but with the "hype" gone isn't the same. You may buy something when it is released, but if you don't do it on that moment, may be you will never do.
 
Can someone take photo of a character wearing the samurai mask only? I've always thought it was an upcoming mustache DLC :<

Now, what if they release half of the upcoming DLCs as a package-deal?
 
Came back for the June 5th DLC news and its this tripe? almost nothing for the fellas. ah well, i said i'd buy all DLC for SCV anyway even if there off my most wanted list, gotta support SCV in anyway possible for a SCVI or DLC Zasalamel & Talim. whichever comes first.
 
Lol I don't think I'll be buying these. Maybe the swan armor but probably not. Someone who buys the rock head pack, lemme know if I can put that slutty underwear on Algol and then maybe I'll buy it.​

I am probably going to get the helmet and swan armor packs but that is it. I do not have a personal use for the nurse and cowgirl outfits. Good news is that means the next few months will have a lot of good stuff to reveal. Now if only we could cut down on the wait time.

My problem isnt just what we're getting. They have so much equipment and theyre only going to give us three packs that are so damn expensive. Some of this stuff can be put to use, but this is not what we've been waiting for. *in Tira's Jolly side voice* BORING!

As much as I like SCV, I'm not going to throw them all my cash. They have done a lot of things wrong with some dlc and I'm not going to reward them for it. Besides, I hate buying stuff I'm not going to use anyway. Imo, this and cepheus pack 2 aren't bad, but why are they being stingy with this dlc? This shouldn't surprise me though, as Namco as never made any reasonable dlc at all this gen (not just to SCIV/SCV). Have anyone seen the crazy prices for the Tales of Graces f dlc?

PS, WHERE ARE MY JACKETS, YOU CLOWNS?

To be fair, they need to stretch out their content if they are going to live up to their promise of monthly DLC. Since this is all pre-planned, they work on getting a huge batch that is (mostly) polished so they can release it little by little over a few months while they work on the next huge batch. If they try giving us too much, they will run out of DLC to give us and not have enough time to give us more.

I am hoping they will try to move in the direction of working on porting SCIV equipment (like Talim's outfit in the thumbnails) so we can recreate a lot of our old characters.

I'm really happy about the Swan/Angel armor <3
Unfortunately, that's the only thing that actually caught my attention. I was looking forward to that white dress and the blue petticoat. I was even looking forward to the second Tekken pack because of Jun's shawl. Oh well.

I, for one, am glad they've released most of this stuff now.

After giving us a character pack last time, it seemed fairly obvious we wouldn't get one now. And as someone said, we now know what's coming up next.

On top of that, with just a few really usable parts, I don't have to be concerned about using them and getting my money's worth - I can find uses for them now, and not be distracted by all the pretty 1/2P stuff. So in essence it's encouraging me to do new things and not rely on the SCV stuff.

And if they released all of it at once, that means we'd have a longer wait for new stuff, or they'd merely stop making it. The current release schedule builds up hype, get's people pre-planning uses for the items, and gives them ideas of what to focus on next.

I've not looked in depth at the new stuff, but like John I've been eagerly awaiting the Swan stuff, and the cowgirl outfit looks nice too.
 
I really like the swan stuff....and the nurse one <<; >>; (Pyrrha you gunna dress SEXY!) Has it been released yet? Im out of town and dont have mon xbox so yeah~
 
Ok, so the Swan stuff is officially called the Valkyrie Armour and comes in five pieces:
Helm
Cuirass
Gauntlets
Faulds
Graves

The second pack is Sexy Costumes 1, which gives you:
Ten Gallon Hat
Cowgirl Vest
Wrist Cuffs
Cowgirl Shirt
Cowgirl Boots
Nurse's Cap
Nurse's Uniform
Nurse's Boots

And the final pack, known as Headgears 2 provides:
Rhinoceros Head
Noh Mask
Fighter Pilot Helmet
Ornate Helmet Crest (That Kanji character in the thumbnails)
And a Fundoshi, which my limited knowledge of Japanese fashion at least informs me that you don't wear those on your head.

The fundoshi is male-only.


[notice] You can have 3 of the new helmet ornament, as opposed to just one like some extra equips. (Anyone know what it translates to?)The Nurse item's CAN be coloured so that the hearts are invisible. Thus making them a thousand times better, though the Nurse uniform clashes with seemingly all underwear.


Valkyrie Cuirass has some wings on the back. They're about mid-size and kind of ruin it in my opinion.


Valk Fauld clashes with all legwear.
Valk Cuirass clashes with all neckwear. The wings disallow capes and such, and it comes with it's own necking.
Valk Greaves also clash with legwear.[/notice]
