in the spirit of childish whining, i'd like to see all marvel vs. capcom characters, all kid icarus characters and all star wars characters (and i mean ALL) as DLC. but its just not going to happen

The Active Wear pack is bullshit.

240 MS points for three pieces of objectify-dem-womanz-gear? There is fuckery afoot. I'm pretty pleased with all the other packs though... The only thing that's really irking me is the amount of truly needless clashing issues with a lot of the parts to such a degree it's indicative of nothing but sloppy implementation. But there's still a lot of cool stuff.

As for the bias in DLC towards female CaS characters:

One, who the hell do you think they're selling this to in the first place? Two, I come from a place of "meh" on this anyway. I don't have a problem playing female characters, so it isn't really an issue with me if most of the DLC is for them... In SCV, most of my CaS customs are female, while in SCIV they were mostly male. I go where the options are, and I don't care where that is. And three, check back with point one.

I'd honestly prefer it if the rest of the DLC was entirely unisex and focused more on looking cool rather than further contributing to the obvious decline of all civilization through fan-service. If I was creating a fictional warrior with an edged weapon of some kind, he/she would obviously not be dressed in a french maid outfit or like they were about to get dicked down in the locker-room at Hentai Academy.

I expected a lot of porn here anyway. But I'd like that to be toned down in the future to focus more on unisex equipment that looks badass rather than... well, like the first five minutes of every hentai. More stuff in the vein of that dress in the maid pack with the french name I can't spell. It's skanky on it's own but with good equipment choices surrounding it, it just looks awesome as shit.

And obviously I'd throw it all away for DLC Zasalamel but I think the internet has made it REAL FUCKIN' CLEAR that we want DLC characters at this point and we'll either get it or we won't.
 
This stuff is available now right? I go to "Download Compatibility Pack" and it says "There is no compatibility pack to download". Then I click on "Purchase DLC" and it says "Unable to find compatibility pack." what do I do ._.

Fanservice is a part of the culture, even in it's history!

I think that's what they're going to do (they called it Equipment 1). If they plan to give us all the costumes, we could get about 6-8 packs regarding characters costumes. That's also probably why they're cheaper than the maid costumes.

They probably will since it has the number "1" in front of it. Still, it's kinda a bummer they charge us for the mesh that's already in-game, but sadly it's not a surprise anymore with today's gaming industries (still not as bad as Capcom).

I'm pretty sure there are other aspects of their culture and history that are equally deserving of the infinite money they think we have.

Fixed that for you :p. Either way, Namco can take my money. I like them for the most part.
 
Well i for one am a little dissapointed.
i for one don't make many female cas.
ive tried but they honestly dont look right.
with exception to maybe two i've made.
so maids pack isnt really doing it for me.
why no butler outfit in this pack.
im more in to monster creation.
and would love a monster limbs pack in the future.
BTW. this is an example of my work enjoy.

As of now, especially with Street Fighter X Tekken, I'd say they are nearly in the same level, though that's a discussion for another topic and another day XD
