You make many valid points in your posts.
And I agree someone dropped the ball.

But in retail mistakes of this nature no matter who makes them are often honored to the customer.
Providing the customers have proof that what was offered for sale was not given.
We have the image.

It could be argued that one could preview the items or read the full description to avoid headaches like this in the future.
But is this really what it has come to with DLC?
Is a picture is no longer a good enough description ?

But the real issue here is how this was handled.
A simple photo tweak and it never happened.

Of course, as Viola's 2P outfit was, in fact, NOT on the image (only an early promotional version in the early promotional video and not the final one) it's clearly not supposed to be there.

And regardless of whether it was on the disc or not, it was still only accessible via DL. (Though I agree, if it's on the disc we should own it already.)

Honoured, meaning, not legally required. The company doesn't need to give you anything.

Again, in the Cepheus Store, when you looked at the image brought up with SCV Equipment 1, Viola's 2P was NOT THERE. Nobody needed to read any text - The image told you EXACTLY what was in it.

If you base all your retail decisions on early promotional material, then that's not the companies issue.

What you call a "simple photo tweak", I call "a correction".
If Viola's 2P outfit was on the Cepheus Store image itself, then yes it should be included in the pack, but is isn't. The early product changed and the final product is what you're paying for.

Le Bello now directs you to the game "Star Fox Adventures", a title released and sold despite being almost nothing like the original product "Dinosaur Planet."

If you also look up "Banjoo-Kazooie", you'll find that instead of the popular, titular bear/bird combo, the game would focus around a human character and an island full of pirates.

Famous RPG series Kingdom Heart's main character Sora, was originally going to be a Lion-based anthro.

Things change. It happens. In the end, the product both pictured and listed did NOT involve Viola's 2P outfit.
The promo stuff showed it, but this, as stated, could have been a mistake, or the items removed for some reason that we may never know.

I noticed you didn't use my full statement on that quote.

You "TWEAKED" it to better suit you.

Also you are correct no company needs to do anything.

They act in the best interest of their brand or to save face when someone drops the ball.

Only a fool would risk his future sales by upsetting his present day client base.

Using rationalizations like that was a promo (which usually say this is incomplete and things can change).


Also this is not OUTRAGE as much disappointment.

I thought that would be transparent.

This is also not bothering one person it affecting many.

so try to use "you" less.

it should be us as in a community and not one person.

This was handled poorly.

You can speculate as to why, but we haven't heard from any official source on the matter.

Only to then change it on release with no prior heads up to be fair?

Le Bello merely erased the rest to address that one point, note that I still replied to the rest of your points.

And only a foolish consumer would act in such a manner because they weren't given something that wasn't promised.

Again, go to the Cepheus Store and look. Is Viola's 2P outfit mentioned at all? No. Was it in promo? Yes. Do promo videos fully reflect finished outcome? No. Is this bad business practice? No.

If it were truly meant to be given in the pack, it would've been.

That's stupid. There WERE poor handling issues with the first batch of CS DLC, but that was on SONY EU's end, and their late distribution.

Yes. Le Bello finds it completely fine and normal to show the demograph something and then remove it without providing a reason - it happens all the time. They'll have reasons for it, reasons that they're not obligated to tell us. You have to accept that it isn't included, and possibly wasn't intended, and if it were intended, something changed that.

However, ONCE AGAIN, your last point relies on PS having meant for you to have the outfit in the first place. If they didn't and it was just a mere marketing mishap, then your argument is invalid.

Le Bello is tired of making the same points again and again.

So yes - We cannot speculate as to why Viola's 2P outfit is not included, but we also cannot assume that it was completely meant to. Surely if it were, then it would be. Unless, as stated, it was REMOVED FOR SOME NON-SPECULATIVE REASON (as I've said) or was NEVER MEANT TO BE THERE.

This, Pyrrha and Viola's 2P outfits especially. I'd also like to add Hilde's 1P to that list, as well - there doesn't seem to be a lot of non-bulky upper-body armor for the ladies (at least, not that cover the whole of the torso, such as the General's Armor), so I'd love to be able to use her cuirass.

They need to just transfer some of of the material from SCIV.
some of the equipment from the last game was very nice. maybe even hairstyles and weapons too.

it should be easy to bring over since they said they were basically using the same engine as before.

I honestly don't mind if its reused content. its still useful, but I hope they don't trickle the content as slowly as they are. and nickel and dime to much.

on a side note: make more gear unisex. I was shocked something like justice boots could not be worn by females.

It has nothing to do with the engine, just graphics. Any SCIV parts they bring over would have to be remodeled ground up in HD. It'd be basically the same amount of work as it would be to make all new equipment minus the design phase, and considering how uninspired a lot of the new gear is, it probably wouldn't translate to too much of a difference either way.

I agree though, I'd especially like to see all characters get their old SCIV CaS weapons back. Or preferably, entirely new weapons.

Well, female have some nice badass armor, at least in SCIV, that males couldnt wear. That was a sad day
 
What happened to Gorgon armor? It was perfectly fine in SCIV and now making it unisex somehow mad it deformed on females now. I don't understand. Bulkiness and floating items should be adressed imo.

That is an inherent problem that beomes extremely noticeable. That and items that I want to clip can't clip! If I want helmets with eyepatches like it was with SCIV, then let me do so!

Ok anyone else on SE Asia's PSN? Because I still can't download any compatibility pack and there are no items in the store. It's been 5 days! They don't want my money apparently.
