It's just a game. You're the only person on here hardpressed about gender equality in a character creation feature. Some characters will be able to use something another can't. Deal with it. Why is that so hard for you to accept? Work within the means.

So if everything was unisex that would just be something you have to deal with and accept? Also i'm not the only person, other people want all unisex clothing as well. And i'm just the only one posting about wanting all unisex clothing right now, it doesnt mean i'm hard pressed for it, it's just something i would want and there is nothing wrong with that. Others are in agreement as well. And what does the fact that is is just a game have to do with anything? Resorting to that is another sign of a person losing ground in their point.

Still ignoring what i said lol. How foolish must you be to think that a creators real world preferences don't effect their product.

Go make your game free of limitations and I won't buy it.

Edit:

@Forgorn Exactly. It was done out of fun but should not have been taken as the basis for the entire tool. You can already cross dress but they obviously don't feel you should be able to do it so heavily.

I guess since both Dampierre, Tira and Yoshi have random elements. Maxi, Phyrra and Nightmare should too? Right?

Why would i want the support of a bigot? It's pointless. And you havent even clarified your point if you think i'm missing it. And your foolish to think that they have their real world preferences in mind when what they should be focused on is profit. Guys can already wear skirts, it obviously isnt about the creator's real world preferences. So your argument is already invalid.

Don't make me go on a deleting spree. The tl;dr: of all this is taffetier wants everything to be unisex. Almost everyone else doesn't for all the stupid crap that will be made as a result.

The point has been made, and it's even been noted in the stickied wishlist.

So let's move on to something more fun. Up for discussion: what one single CaS part do you want more than anything else?

For me, it's not a part, it's a voice. Taki's specifically. If you think I'm cheating by saying that, I'll say Taki's SC3 mask.

I wouldnt say almost everyone, just the most recent posts. Nine L and several others are in agreement about all unisex...

As for the new topic i just want this old piece in SC4. It was something like the Guardian's Robe and it had some nice detailing on it and looked really cool.

That's what I came in here to find out but apparently I'm a bigot because I don't care whether my little barbie dolls wearing the Oath Sash or not lol.

I thought this was closed already? Dont you have some double standards to enforce anyway?

It's been two weeks, new releases were stated to be monthly.

EDIT: Scratch that, I'm finally using the ignore function on this board. I was hoping it wasn't going to happen -_-

She did have some really cool hats.

In fact i loved her alternate outfit in SC2. The top in particular was nice.
Which one? The pink one or the blue one? Personally for me, I've always adored her traditional outfits with their unique tribal designs (n_n<)
I would pay ten bucks for all of her outfits again. Of course, I'd pay more for my priestess to be DLC but I'll just have to wait and see for now lol.

If I where to wish for one CaS part it would be the Dueler Boots from SCIV but unisex so I can use it on females. It would be a nice alternative to Honor Boots. :D

The blue one, it really added to her whole WIND design, the way it flowed and look so comfortable so she could feel the wind on her body. The color especially was nice.

I remember those boots, i think i used them for Raphael since they somewhat resemble the kind he likes to wear. And yeah, they would look good on everyone, especially the females. I know Viola would look nice in them for the alt i made for her that kind of looks what Raph has on.

Unisex items are a real sensitive subject no doubt.
I have been reading post and both side make great points.
But if you look deeper you see two reoccurring themes.

The first one being someones personal comfort level.
Cross-dressing can be a real scary thing to some people.
Even if it is in game.
What might make some people laugh will really offend others.
No matter how you feel about cross-dressing both groups should to be respected.

The second theme is "Getting the most out of your DLC"
the overall sentiment is "just make everything unisex".
Which would be easier than weeding out what is or isn't a gender specific item.
But what happens when all you wanted was a hat and not a blouse, skirt and stockings.
Then also you might get stuck fighting VIOLAROTH!!!

As for dealing with seeing Violaroth or getting that coveted gender specific item.

I say the solution is the following.

Give creation mode a switch for those who don't want to use "unisex gear" or play with people who use them by flagging parts.
A match filter of sorts.
So if a male cas is equipped with "female items" you wont be matched.
Add a mode to avoid cas fighters altogether and you might even please the tourney players.

Hey as far as creepy things go remember we have yet to receive spider crotch guards. XD

The filter for making it so you dont get matches against all CaS characters is something a few people wouldnt mind. I know some people are entirely against the option because it messes with hitboxes and damage. In ranked especially some people would like that filter. They think something like "ranked" is supposed to imply a bit of seriousness and it gets thrown out the window when you face a guy covered in rainbow drums, seeing as such a thing wouldnt be allowed in a tourney setting.
