@Benjeezy That is so the story in a nutshell. I don't see how that can be acceptable but a brother saving his sister is so lame and boring.

News Flash People it's all mediocre!!

PS Sindels actual playstyle does not even remotely reflect the the BS she was capable of in that cut scene.

I actually really liked Hilde's 2P too. The dress (and the boots<3) were great. I'd add to the list:
- Seong Mi-na's 2P. That battle dress thing looked cool, and her boots (boots again<3) were quite stylish and feminine, but has a good battle-ready look to it.
- Ivy's 2P. Just for her Belle skirt. I might say her Belle undergarments too, but it's especially for the skirt.
- Taki's 2P. It had some awesome looking gloves and her strange undergarments/suit is actually, surprisingly, very versatile. It helps add a lot of details than just a plain suit, even if that said suit has great textures.
- Siegfried's 2P. I disliked the spaudlers, but I loved the rest of the Paladin set, especially the sash.
- Sophitia's 2P. I'm just a sucker for armor, and quite loved the semi-water/mermaid theme of it. Hilde's 1P takes the cake though.

I'm still wondering why the hell did they "break" the Gorgon armor set so much. It looked fine in SCIV; now it looks ridiculously oversized, except for the breastplate.

Imo, some of the best pieces in SCIV came from the character's 2Ps. There isn't a single boot in SCV that is as good as the Belle Boots and they should've given us the Princess Shoes (since they brought back the gloves) instead of those Royal Boots. I hoped they'd bring everything back, but I guess that's asking for too much for Namco's sake :p

Precisely. It pisses me off that they took out the best equipment from SCIV. Hell, the 2p equipment would fit in SCV even better because there are no characters wearing the clothing in question. And some things would be able to be segmented. For example; Sophitia's breastplate and undershirt. Or even separating Hilde's dress into a blouse and skirt.

Justice Boots, Oathbearer Greaves, Phyrra's Boots, Absolution shoes, Laced Boots and a few other that slip my mind are better then the Belle Boots IMO.

I'm talking pre-dlc. Before, there wasn't anything that gave the same aesthetic the boots provided; the long laced boots in SCV only came less than half way. But even so, the other boots you listed may be pretty good, but they can't replace the belle boots. It seems that's going to change with this new dlc tho :)

Because A LOT of people say "Oathbreaker" instead of "Oathbearer", the latter being the right one, and the one you used.

Also, I have to disagree that the laced boots are better than belle boots. The laced one are very big and almost look rubber-like, and it's far for being as feminine and slick as the belle boots. It also doesn't have as interesting color channels.

Oh I was just referring to the 1P outfits in that post... I liked a few 2P outfits but not that many.... things like...

-Xianghua's 2P (It was pretty nice but I hated how the coloring options looked on CAS characters. It looked so much neater and detailed when you colored it on Xianghua's 2P standard.)
-Hilde's 2P (I agree, the Princess Dress & boots looked great!)
-Ivy's 2P (Like you, I liked it. Much more then her 1P. It just didn't look right on her in my opinion but it was great for CAS characters. I especially liked the Belle gloves, skirt, and boots. I didn't really use the Belle undergarments because the bottom part of the outfit was too gaudy for my taste...)
-Yun Seong's 2P (Moreso for his Noble Garment Top, Noble gloves, and Noble boots. <3)
-Raphael's 2P (I loved his whole Dueler's outfit. Loved the boots and pants the most!)
-Mina's 2P (I liked her coat and boots as well. Didn't care much for the spaulder or underwear though...)

Yeah, I guess I found different pieces useful from everyone's 2P. :)

I don't like the long laced boots that much because they look a bit fat... ^^;

I liked the Belle boots because I liked the clothed material on the top and the metallic heel and toe lacing. But that's just me. ^^;

Oh i get it now lol.

Well I guess it's a matter of preference. None of my female characters in SCIV rocked the belle boots. They made characters look all high maintenance, while what I usually go for is down to earth looks or warrior chicks clad in armor.

It would be the best news ever if they did but i don't see it happening.
The Dev team are probably on to the next thing.

I wonder how far into updating the missing fighting styles PS got before cutting them due to time constraints.
Is it possible they never got to work on them at all.
 
It seems like PS is just including equipment that they want in the game. I mean really, how could they possibly think that the equipment that they're releasing is going to make the players happy? They're releasing these things so that they can earn money, but wouldn't it make more sense to listen to the players so that there's a higher chances of us actually wanting to buy this stuff?
 
Okay, I admit that I fucking hate the animal heads, but at this point... I'd be a pretty happy troll if I had a full panda suit to go with the panda head.

So, I just discovered this a couple minutes ago; feel free to ignore this if you were already aware of it.

There are actually a number of undergarments that are compatible with Viola's dress.
All 4 unitards, the Tear Leotard, Hunter's Suit(though it causes clipping), Triangle Bikini, Tiger Lily Stockings, Undershorts, Cotton Bandage and the Bustier.
So, if you were unaware of this, there ya go. It's not much, but at least it offers for more customization.

Edit: The Merveilleuse Dress is also compatible with the things mentioned above, as well as the Sleeveless Top, Full Leggings, Ring Trousers, Capris, Undershorts, and Black Tights.
