The GI game.

So just to spark the imaginations of others and myself, i'm curious as to how other players use Sieg's GI game.

So I guess so far just post your options for the post GI Game and maybe we can all inspire each other. Please keep your answers in the following format.

Opponent does not Re-GI
  • 3B, combos
  • a+kA series combos and mixups
  • agA
  • 3A
  • Throws
Opponent Re-GI(This is where the money is)
  • Throws
  • 44A
  • 44B~B Tech Trap
  • B4,B*4,B:4
  • 1B
  • 2[A+B]
  • 88B, RSH B, 33B
  • SRSH into SRSH B
  • SBH into SBH A_K
Warbling your opponent (JI)
  • 3B, SCH A+B
  • Throws (although mine always get broken post JI :()
  • ?

So i'm here to see what the other options people have are particular post JI.

EDIT: Added throws(Thanks Sach for reminding me of the blatantly obvious option I missed) and 2[A+B]

I normally 3B or grapple. If they re-GI, I use 1B. 1B if my back is to the edge or a wall, 3A if a wall or edge is to my right. I use 3B if I get a JI, or 66KA if an edge is to my left.

Yeah I just o a 3b/grab mixup. If they Re-GI il grab them the next time ect. Furthermore 3b is a safe damage because you will do varying amounts of damage depending on the GI or JI. That said I mostly Parry With Seig and either try the 1aa tech trap, use b4 or go into SRSH

Opponent does not Re-GI
  • 3B, 6B, B6
  • 4A, 6A, 22_88A
  • B_A+G
Opponent Re-GI(This is where the money is)
  • standard Throws
  • 11_77 A
  • 44B
  • B4,B*4,B:4
  • 1B, 66B
  • 2[A+B]
  • 88B, RSH B, 33B
  • SRSH into SRSH B
  • SBH into SBH A_K
Warbling your opponent (JI)
  • 3B, SCH A+B (best option ever)
  • 44A against any intend to Re JI
  • 11B

I do:
3B if RO is behind them.
agA if RO is to their right.
3A if RO is to their left.
1B if RO is behind me.
11A if we are the center of the stage.
b4 if I guess they stay there.
Throws if I'm not in the mood for any of the above.

It always depends on gamble pattern of the battle between you and your opponent. The goal here is maintain momentum and not get your MixUp spotted.

Yeah, Sieg is one of the few characters who has viable RO moves for all directions. Post GI he can pretty much force a potential RO mix up no matter which side the ring edge is on. Always pay close attention to how your opponent responds as well. There are people who like to try and re-GI a lot, and others who rarely will. Choose your move accordingly.

I have one very important question for anyone who can answer it. Please, please can someone tell me how to perform BT-B+K's GI from ground ('face down-foot towards' and 'face up-head towards') wake up? I read it once here but I totally forgot it. I haven't figure it out yet. I used to do it a lot in SC3, but in SC4 the input is not simply pressing [ B+K ].

I do a lot this Special GI... sometimes I do while trying to do the opposite... sometimes I really try to do it... I just wait to roll until my character is with his fronthead to the floor(como se diria en español "boca-abajo"), then I press B+K (I use this mapped cause sometimes fails when I try to do using my thumb to cover triangle and circle at the same time).

I'm pretty sure you can have any character stand up with their back turned by hitting :B::+::K:, never looked into the idea that it works more often or only when your face is to the ground. I'll check into that, thanks.

I believe Offmatic found that if you press K+G you would stand up BT from the ground depending on your feet position on the ground.

IIRC, feet first, head down will get you BT.

that is bullshit. When I posted same question I got a lot of responce none of which was correct.. lol ..
to get up otg in BT you need to press 4G after tech roll window is closed. after that input B+K or whatever anytime. if you press nothing your character will get up backturned and stay this way until you press something.

after a GI ive been using b4 to 1b tech trap which scares my opponents into not re-GIing so SRSH is the order of the day after that

Belial,

Well of course there can be multiple ways of getting up into BT. Since no one had said what I know I thought I'd post it for Jink.

Not to mention advantage on block.
I personally still prefer 44A. As long as people dont duck it, it remains the best post-GI option dmg-wise. It also gives adv on block and leaves them in a better position to get thrown.

If Opponent Re-GI, you can also do a slow agA for Wall or RO.
After JI in training mode 1B does more damage than 3B SCH A+B, it seems has CH property but not CH damage. In didn't try in match, somebody did ? :)
But still a good option for RO or Wall too.
