She does it more frequently in matches as opposed to training mode, from my experiences.

It also seems like the longer you're in one mood the more likely you are to change when doing a head-butt, normally if I do a few short combos in Jolly like 2A > 3B or WR B,K~K > 2B she'll change whenever I do A+B or 4K next time. But that's probably all gibberish since none of that is really fact.

I do wish we knew the calculations behind the mood changes, like if it's dependent on the clock, her health, the enemies health, how much damage your last combo did, if it's a 1/10 type deal or if it really just triggers randomly.

There's no such thing as "random" when it comes to a computer program ;)

I'm a little confused, why does the same combo with Critical Edge have varying damages? x_x?
 
ya, i guess its just our luck being tira users, tira is has a lot of luck involved in her combos. there's a reason her difficulty in her attribute box as really high

Yeah but it's not half as bad as it was in SC4. I manage to stay in GS most of the time in this game.
 
time to sound like a noob. i didnt learn all the terminology when playing 4, i learned mostly everything myself, but i see thats not going to work now. so what does BT and WR mean? dont redirect me plz, just telling me would do fine.

BT: Means facing backwards
 
BT literally Back Turned so yeah, facing backwards ;)

Tira's not the only one who "suffers" from varying CE damage in combos, I do the same combo with Algol and it ranges from ~150 to ~180 or something. I thought it might be something to do with doing more damage face down or face up and them bouncing around randomly during her CE but Algol's is always the same way it hits so I'm kinda stumped x_x?
 
I noticed those but have no idea what they are. Just some random occurrence that'll do a bit more damage on hit?
 
Pretty much. Every character has certain moves that have a random chance to Clean Hit, which does more damage than usual. (Ironically you can "Clean Hit" even on whiff.)
 
I'm in a rush so I didn't have a ton of time to test, but I JUST started messing with Tira, now that I'm a bit comfortable with Viola. She seems solid enough I might actually second her this time around.

Anywho, this:

JS 4A 4K GS 4B:B:B 4A 4K 4K JS 66B BE BT B+K 4K 666B seems to work. If you don't transition after 4Ks, just do a 666B early. The only part that you have to react to is the 4A->4K transition.

Sorry if this has been posted. Going to go through this thread after I'm done with class today, and I'm on my way there now. :P

I have been testing with GS 4BBB and it actually does less damage in combos then a 3B launcher. I find it to be kind of odd.
