Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Ugh im so sick of that preview. Sure it's long, but its content is utterly useless. It tells us NOTHING about the characters except a SUPER generalized assumption on the character as a whole. Very lazy article :/

"It's been said that Dante has the most attacks out of any character in any Capcom fighting game to date, but don't let that scare you off from trying him out. Though he is an advanced character, you can do very well by using his basic attacks. Many of his combos are fairly easy to perform, and he has some pretty straight forward Supers as well. He is a character where we probably won't understand his full potential or impact on the game for at least a year or two while players figure out all his tricks. Still, even in these early stages he appears to be a very strong character despite the high learning curve."

What did I learn from that read on Dante?!? He has lots of moves...and ummm...he's good.
 
Actually I need to revise that after rereading the interview. Here is the quot:

"Indeed, we could not choose characters that were not on that list and if there was anyone who wanted to use Marvel said we do not pick up that takes this one. In this sense, we wanted to bring back a couple of characters in MVC2 as Juggernaut and The Sentinel but could not."

This could just mean Capcom wanted to ask but weren't allowed to, but Marvel may have selected him. So false alarm on my part. I posted this as I woke up lol.
 
Even if they said Sentinel was absolutely not in they could just be lying like with Yatternman2.
Lupinko has built up an absurd amount or credibility at this point and is more credible than Capcom PR.

Yeah that's what I think is going down, and Lupinko > Capcom PR at the moment.

Ok I listened to the audio file of the interview and it said that they pushed marvel for Sentinel and Juggs, then goes on to say that there were "some characters" they wanted but couldn't include. It doesn't hurt Sent's chances at all in fact it makes him more likely.
 
Making The Sentinel a bit smaller sounds reasonable, maybe a smaller, 'commando' version.

Make him like Cable, without the spam and stuff. Give him some more projectiles and some grenades, also that one super he had in MvC2 was a bit lame imo, have him call in his big brothers lol

Yeah...its bull. They lie at least a little. Im waiting on my fuckin Sentinel.

They sorta did but it's been taken way out of context and it left the possibility of Hsien-ko being in the game. Basically he said if he could add one more DS it would be Talbain, but he didn't say we knew about all the DS characters that were already in or anything like that. People just grabbed the sentence out of context and spread it.
