Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

He has limited options after that dash; just get out of his immediate range and bait the attack.

That j.C catches my dash with Dorm cuz he's so slow and huge. I finally realized that it crosses up in a corner, so now I know why i was constantly getting hit by that.

Ok so I gave my Dante THC theory a test with Hulk and here's what I got:

2 meter = 1,000,000+ dmg any where on screen. Hulk on point, Dante second. If you have 3 meter when you do the THC, make sure that they wont knock them out of Dante's hyper. Hulk must do Gamma quake as his THC.

Combo 1:
c.LM S, j.MMHS, Dash, A1+A2, (during Dante firing), Dash, Dash, LH, (after final shot from dante) j.S, (you now have a whole new meter gained) S -> Gamma Crush

Combo 2:
c.LM -> 623 HH, c.H S, j.MMHS, Dash, A1+A2, (during Dante firing), Dash, Dash, LH, (you now have a whole new meter gained) S -> Gamma Crush

*You can sometimes do 2 s.H instead of s.LH during Dantes hyper, but you must do it quickly (before the bullets end) and be close enough.

So now I'm shopping around for other ways to do this and other characters. Key factors is you need 1 character to recover quick enough too Dash in and be there in time to juggle by the time he's done. Hit stun scale is pretty severe by then, so you need to have almost gained a full bar of meter in the combo leading up and able to do enough hits during Dante's hyper. Characters with long hypers to attempt:

Ammy, Dante, Chris, Deadpool, Modok, Dorm (stalking flame in scenarios it is underneathe the opponent)

You also need a character on point that can THC well as THC cannot be done to cancel a special, so you may be limited in what's possible and needed to get that 1 precious meter to use at the end. Also keep in mind if you get 3 meter at the THC and then don't gain enough after you will not be able to tag on the last hyper. So you want either 2 meter and none to a little over, or a full 3 meter when doing this.

Alright since my team had slow otg that can't help hulk I've worked around that,

Hulk
J.h j.s cr.h s j.m j.m j.h j.s gamma wave/dorm dark hole s j.h j.s gamma quake
Combos for over 800,000 the timing is not that hard but online it might be hard to pull off. My only problem with it its really only usable on the corner. Unlike other peoples long ass combo tjat can be done anywhere.

hmm unless hit stun is an issue, i feel you're missing free damage and meter with that. Try this:

j.HS, land, j.LLM, land, c.HS, j.MMHS, land, gamma wave/dorm assist, c.HS, j.HS (maybe omit the H at this point), gamma tsunami -> Gamma Crush Hyper.

This is untested and pieced together from existing BnBs, so you may need to edit parts due to hit deterioration. ALWAYS try to end with OTG gamma tsunami -> Gamma Crush hyper in corners. Unless you intend to DHC this is always the best option. Hit deterioration doesn't affect the how long they stay grounded after j.S after a launcher so you can always squeeze in the gamma tsunami even at low altitudes.

I'm am also still desperately trying to find a team. I've married Dorm as my point character and reluctantly keep Doom on my team because even though his assists are AMAZING and he's a meter building beast of on his own with keep away to boot...I'm terribly awkward with his movement and attacks and can't get his combos down to save my life. So any ideas for good Dorm synergy? Currently I'm testing Dorm (pillar)/Storm(whirlwind)/Doom(missle)

Storm assist is a general GTFO assist as the push back is amazing and she DHC's very well...however her assist not reaching full screen is of minor concern (though we have missles) and her whirlwinds aren't very tall and i feel Dorms big weakness is jump ins and full screen hyper beams. Team has amazing points, but i can't help but feel it can't do shit against Akuma since he has a super fast beam with VERY high damage to punish my assists and dorm who can't portal corners well, and the angle he attacks at is right where dorm and my assist can't reach well.

So help :/. I'm trying to avoid sentinal and doom, but they may be necessary. I'm awkward with them on point but their assist are amazing...but they DHC like shit with Dorm.

I hate akuma. You might be able to use air black holes to deal with akuma's air fireballs if those are giving you any problems.

IMO it's not a good idea to have Dorm as the 1st character because he builds meter slowly while needing (and benefiting) from meter more than most other characters.

My biggest issue with Akuma is Tatsu pressure, the angle he can come at you at, Air tatsu advancing, super fast beam hyper to punish my zoning and assists.

Dorm definitely benefits from meter, but for some reason I'm never deprived of a full bar of meter with all the zoning chip i do.

Have you tried trish? She had pretty nice zoning and has those traps to protect dorm. Also yeah I don't like having Dorm on point seeing as most of his combos need gauge to do any real damage.

Characters I've tried:

Trish: both peek-a-boo and low voltage:
I like low voltage because the hit box is so high on the projectile and while peek-a-boo saves me at times, I often trust in it and get hit by dive kicks blowing right through it. She also has weak DHC with Dorm. Not terrible but not great since you'r often forced to interrupt dorm early. Voltage can relaunch combo in corner with Dorm.

Taskmaster: horizontal assist:
Used like a beam. However hit box isnt very high and just never felt really effective over all. Can relaunch combo in corner with Dorm.

Iron Man: repulsor and beam:
repulsor is a nice situational GTFO and beam is pretty good assist. He also DHC's well. I'm just awkward with him so he's been in mind if i can get better with him on point. can do a relaunch set up with Dorm on point anywhere on screen with repulsor, and in corner with beam.

Sentinel: charge:
Speaks for it self, but I dont like using sentinel and he not big on his DHC's unless im in a corner. No relaunch capability with dorm.

Storm: whirlwind:
Whirlwind acts as a mid screen beam and push back, but doesnt reach full screen and it's not very high to stop jump ins. Does DHC well and relaunch combo in corner with Dorm

Really I'm looking for a way to cut off short jumping at range. Zero, Ryu, and Akuma just mess me up with their ability to get in at odd angles with VERY high priority and anti-advancing guard tactics. So I'm looking for one assist to keep away and one defensive.

Tron assist helps everyone and she build meter like a motherfucker.
I'm running Tron-AA/Shuma-Stare/Trish-Peekaboo right now and its pretty decent.

Trons' good but she's too far out in front for dorm with gustaff assist and can only DHC in the corner I think. Dorm is just awkard to build teams with, kinda like super skrull. Very good character but covering the gaps is a bitch. Right now My top pick are Storm and Iron Man. My theory says use Ironman, but Storm feels more natural to me on point. :/ Part that kills me is that I'm so in love with Doom missle that I wont use Doom rocks which is the PERFECT projectile for what I want since it is both defensive and offensive with great lock down properties, but the missles save my ass so much I dont want to lose them to gain the benefit of rocks. Gah why can't another character have an assist like Doom Rocks >_<

Tho maybe modok...he does have a rather high beam assist. He's awkward as shit, but DHC's extremely well, builds meter, Can probably always push to the corner with head butt hyper to let doom DHC. and could probably benefit well from both doom missles and Dorm pillar assists...hmmmmmmmm. tempting... to the lab!

Modok builds meter well? hmm he seems like a great zoning character but don't most zoning characters suck at gauge building?

They gain through chip keep away if they're capable of multi hitting traps. Having a beam is a good battery alone. Modok also has pretty long combo's surprisingly. also since they're poking most the time, they're not burning the meter with combos all the time. They're not the best when compared to rush down, but it's notable and they can generally always have 1-2 meters good for a DHC. My Dorm rarely doesn't end on a hyper or have one to burn to make a whiff safe.

And generally some 2 meters DHC's will be close to the same damage as Dorm doing lvl3, and really I'd rather only use 2 meter and have one to hold onto, unless I'm willing to burn a 4th meter for the relaunch.

Ass kicked badly by LostProvidence : FUCK YEAH
Ran 3 miles in 20:05 minutes : FUCK YEAH

Just saw this now. I don't remember what happened but don't feel bad. If you trying hard, it's when you lose that you learn the most. And if you're not trying, just have fun with it. Up for games in that (or anything else that I may have) any time.

And yeah, HumanTyphoon came over last night and we played until 9a.m (that guy never stops)...

Just going to say that, though she was already my boo, I've fallen in love with Jill (Felicia too, but I'm just now starting to understand Jill). I will say that Jill's Machine Gun special works AMAZING for punishing assists and closing distance safely.

Well prepare a Felicia fanclub, because I've been loving speedy chicks that pwn lol. Except I paired Felicia with Morrigan and Wolverine. I'm speed hungry. Even though this is a noob achievement, I feel so pro when I pull off that combo I memorized in Felicia's 6th mission; against someone who underestimated me
