Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Holy crap, Dr. Strange. I expected him to be similar to Dormammu, but damn. He's actually BETTER than Dormammu from what it seems.

As for Nemesis, I am disappoint. =/

I'm gonna be all over UMvC. I don't agree with a few changes, but for the most part it seems to be the game I wanted and will take away some of the frustrations i had with vanilla. I can't say the same for other fights im playing. I'm tryin to do MK and I just can't get over some of the games flaws that completely ruin it.

One thing I love about the game is how playable the roster is. A lot of characters are valid, and even bad ones have roles in certain teams (don't count hsien ko out!). The only issue was choosing a good character versus a broken one and it didn't make sense in most cases not to choose the obv. I like X-23...but there's no reason to use her over Wolverine unless you need her to start DHC. Same with Akuma and Ryu...why would you ever need Ryu over Akuma? The only significant advantage is Ryu's hyper beam being better in most cases...but even then Akuma's can be better in situations. Now with UMvC both will be viable options.

I dont like the fact that Sentinel will no longer be able to rocket punch into Hyper Sentinel Force in UMvC3, it's a shame really, that IMO is a dumb nerf.

Also Ryu gettin silly buffs, I think its really dumb if you ask me...

I dunno, I don't think Dr. Strange looks all that strong. While I have stated that he would be part of my main team (along with Vergil and Firebrand) he's not looking all that amazing and seems to have some serious health issues too. Still, until we get a hold of him and can play him for a bit, we won't know just how strong he is. Though, right now, I don't think he's looking too hot.

He looks really good to me. That teleport is crazy fast and he has loads of slow projectiles to open people up with it. Plus that fullscreen insta-punish that is also an OTG super. His assists seem amazing too.

Did anybody else noticce that Akuma's Tatsu appears to have invincibility at the begging >_>?
I recall two different occasions where he went through a projectile with it on that latest stream.

That isn't that bad a nerf for sentinel, you should be using the Tiger Knee Rocket punch into Hard drive anyways, it does more damage in the long run and drags them and you into the corner.

I liked that leaked video, Pheonix wright only needs one hand and finger to beat the entire cast!

Hmm might not be getting this game after all, I don't think any of my friends are at this point...

I'm having the same problem. I'll wait and see if they'll get interested in MVC3 again. I'd be nice to play a more polished version of the game though.

The problem with the MVC series IMO, is that it's fun and it is definitely a great crossover, but it just seems too much of a juggle fest sometimes. Most teams I fight against are unoriginal and have a vague strategy, which is a shame because they have so many team combinations, the possibilities are nearly endless. But I guess that won't stop people from having Sentinel or Amaterasu in their team. What ever happened to Magfuckingneto? His usage has declined from what I've seen.

No, no he hasn't, and honestly I hardly see Ama or Sent in high level play. Mag is still a character you will see often, but you will see more Wolvy, akuma and phoenix. People flock to characters with the least amount of work and the most reward in this game.

Yeah, I was afraid to mention Wolverine, because I honestly thought he didn't get as much usage as Akuma and Sentinel. But yeah, I admire Magneto players more, as he requires much more strategy and skill to use him. Dormammu's usage has also declined from what I saw as well, but he is another character who takes time to get used to.

Meh mags isn't as hard to use considering he has one of the fastest beams in the game, insane tri-jump mix-ups, a lv3 hyper that hits anywhere on the screen, insane rush down, ridiculous air movement, able to start the DHC glitch, great corner pressure, a grab that leads to some serious damage. Overall he's a great character so when I see people use him is meh. Now when I see C.Viper or Chun I'm impressed considering how much execution is required for them.

Especially C.Viper. She's even not all that easy to play as on Street Fighter IV. And Chun Li always did require skill to use. I'll never forget the time when someone beat me with just Deadpool online. Now THAT was impressive.
