What kind of music would you like to hear in SCVI?

I want to see a return of Junichi Nakatsuru. He's composed a ton of great music for the series, and while having some guest composers is a good idea, I think they went overboard with SC5. Nakatsuru only composed 3 tracks for that entire game and I don't think a lot of the composers they got on board were as good as the guys they got to make extra music for SC2/3/4.
I didn't know he only composed 3 tracks. Do you know which ones specifically?
I have no idea why it took me so long to realize this - I'd love to hear Path of Destiny as the ending theme again. But if they do it, I hope they get it right, unlike the SCIV version.
I agree with this (although I liked SC4's version). I think it's beautiful how they always have Going To Where The Wind Blows in it as a homage to SC1 even though that theme hasn't been in any other games.

The main menu music, character select music, and a track called Field of Honor (I can't remember where it's used). Hiroki Kikuta and Inon Zur are the composers who did most of SCV's soundtrack, and Tomoki Miyoshi did the story mode music.

Remember when SCV & TTT2 had music from the past games as DLC. Tekken 7 had music from the past games only on PS4. SCVI may follow suit.

Have there been any tracks with vocals if not I'd like some of the tracks to have actual lyrics
Not necessarily words but there have been vocals used in tracks like Elysium's from Soulcalibur V (if that's what you meant by 'vocals'):

So there's been no actual words sung in a song before it'd be cool to hear a song sung in latin

What about this? It has some lyrics, but it could just be a pseudo-language. Either way this theme is actually utterly epic, just like a lot of SCV's story music.

Edit: after listening to the track, in this behind the scenes video the vocalist explains that it is a pseudo-language. But I think this is the closest any SC music got to havin lyrics, after The Edge of Soul.

I wouldn't know I didn't play much of SC5 to recall the music aside from thinking that the rock was out of place

Since they did the intro thing on social media, and since they're basing SCVI around SCI (or the whole "old era"), I'd love to see this as the intro music again. I particularly love the part at 1:50
I second this. The section at 1:50 is the best part, and to make it even greater is the transition into Kilik's theme. When I first listened to all of SC1's soundtrack I was wondering where I heard that section from before, and it's also in If There Were Any Other Way.

I hope Water Dance comes back in some way, I like it better than Bloom and Harvest for Xianghua (even though that one is great too). It and Fearless Eyes were my favourites from SC3

PLEASE bring back Junichi Nakatsuru (and as much of the SC2-SC3 composers as possible).

From SCIV and onwards, the game's music lost the grand and epic feeling it once had. They need to recapture that for SC6.

I want them to bring back multiple soundtracks like in the days of Soul Blade when you could choose between the Original and Khan Super Session tracks.

I'd have two choices: Original and Fantasy. The "Original" setting would be traditional orchestral SC music written by one of the classic composers (such as Keiki Kobayashi). The "Fantasy" setting would be a more modernized style, like these:

A Mediterranean Call, Destiny Awaits No One, Eternal Wayfarer, Entwined Destiny, ...honestly there's too many tracks I'd at the very least be willing to buy as DLC like they did in V.

Music! YASS!!! I'll be suggesting only stage BGMs, not story/menu music and such. These are pieces that have a positive effect on my gameplay while I listen to them.

1) What do you think about music mostly made with drums? Take, for instance, this gem from For Honor. It's a link to the entire soundtrack, but the part I wanna show you starts from 5:50 in. For some reason, the video doesn't start from the time code, so you'll probably have to pull it yourself. 5:50, okay?
I dunno, too serious for SC, huh?

2) "Invidia" from Final Fantasy XV is sublime. My Ivy feels unstoppable when this track is on. It could be the ellegance that's brought on by piano. The biggest factor, however, is the rising tempo. I wonder does it work for others as well...

Tekken 7 gets Noctis and, possibly, one track from his game. They would make a mistake if turned out to be the music from his trailer instead of Invidia.

That's it from me, for now.

^ I never owned SCDC (Soul Calibur - Dreamcast) so I never have gotten to hear this track very often. Ironically I'll always crank out that Cervantes BGM, "Leaving The World Behind" like it's no joke!

Talking about Mi-na, how about that "Evil Moon" track she had from III?
