Which version of Cervantes is the best?

As the question ask which version is the best in the entire Soul Calibur series? If I had a pick I would say the Soul Calibur 1 version

Speaking of me I have no doubt, my fav Cervantes is the one from SCV. Because for the first time he feel very balanced. I also like the fact that he is human again.

I've only played him in II, IV, and V.
While SCIV Cervy is what got me into playing him, I think SCV Cervy is the most punishing and merciless.

That could just be because I'm super comfortable with him though. No idea.
