Who would win?

Not sure if this is a post that belongs here (if not, mods, do with it as you please), but, it's something I've always thought about.

If the soul calibur characters, fought each other, one on one, one at a time who would win? I'm talking about the characters, being at their very BEST for each and every match. And the end of each match is fatal. Who do you believe would be alive in the end?

Personally, I'd pick mitsu or vader. I mean, darth vader has the force. What can combat that? haha. And mitsu is just lightning fast, ruthless, and evil. :)


How about a battle royale? Where they all get thrown into some sort of battle arena, where it's every man and woman for themselves. Who would survive that?

I'd have to go with astaroth, cervantes, or sophitia to be the tree possible survivors of a battle royale, because their attacks are devastating. I can see astaroth swinging his big axe, taking out 3-4 of these suckers with one swing. haha. Monster. :)
 
I'm confused. And this should be in the OFFLINE part shouldnt it?

But this is probably going to turn into one of those tierlist argument things. eg. Sophi will just kill everyone until Hilde comes and pushes her off a cliff.

Storywise, a lot of the weaker characters are meant to be stronger and vise versa.

Oh well. Realistically, forgetting tiers and all that bullshit, Vader would beat Mitsu, cause he can choke him from 50 metres away and slice his katana into little pieces with that saber thing he's got there.

That's what I mean.

Forget everything we know about tiers, and just go to the basics of each character, speed, personality, etc.

And act as if they are real characters, without the limits of "stages" with walls and "ring outs", OR "human controllers". haha. :)

And I agree...vader is on another level compared all the other characters. Him using his light saber is almost like him saying "let me play with the peasants on 'their' level" :)
 
I'm gonna have to say Mitsu. His entire story is going out looking for a fighter that can beat him. Except for when he was shot there is no mention of him ever losing. Mitsu the demon god will prevail. Lol
 
To be like for reallz huh Cervantes would because he has gun and he's a ghost...I mean wtf broke much.
 
Nightmare got owned by Killik, so I think Killik would be above Nightmare and Siegfried, and he has one of those sacred treasures.

Hwang got owned by Sophitia lol, poor Hwang.

Hard to place Mitsu since he's never encountered anyone except Taki, and it seems a stalemate between the two.

Nightmare at the time was also Siegfried, Nightmare is now basically inferno (the mind of Soul Edge) since Zasalamel gave Nightmare the ability to have his own body.

Mitsu is at a stalemate with Taki and so far no confrontatinos with Setsuka.

Siegfried is the main character he has plotkai at his back. as well as Soul Calibur, He also defeated Inferno in Soul Edge

Xianugha no longer has Soul Calibur

Maxi has only fought and killed Astaroth

Sophitia defeated Cervantes in Soul edge had a draw with Rock in Soul Calibur and had a draw with Tira in SCIII

Cassandra defeated Raphael before SCIV

Seong-Mina only defeated Ivy in Soul Calibur.

Raph never beat anyone and was defeated by Nightmare and Cass.

Ivy Lost to: Taki, Astaroth and Zasalamel.

Zas defeated Tira and Kilik in SCIII.

Algol is the king of fighters claimed to be the strongest of all people.

(Btw im getting this info from SC wiki)

So to me

Algol and Night Terror are the strongest characters.

Siegfried, Sophie and Zasalmel are pretty up there plot wise

Nightmare is not too good either because he's the bad guy loses to people.

Raph sucks he's been beaten by almost everyone he's become a comical character of sorts.

Talim would win, she has the wind and the naive cuteness.

And it would be the best for all the world.

And by the way didn't Taki save Sophitia's ass in her fight with Cervy in SE?

Well then I have to include Kratos, Vader, Yoda, Apprentice, Link, Heihachi, That guy from Tales of Symphonia, Necrid and Spawn.

Well Yoda NEVER lost, so thats something to take to account.

Kratos is the God of War and kicks allot of mythological ass.

Vader is well the chosen one

However in Star wars: The Force Unleashed, The Apprentice's game the Apprentice (AKA GALEN MAREK) is probably one of the few people who are overpowered with the force. Apprentice brought down an entire Star Destroyer AND defeated Darth Vader in combat.

So Apprentice > Vader (its a sad but true truth)

Link well.....he's Link he'll be the most awesome out of every character in SC, but he's not too powerful, and its hard to measure just how strong Link is.

Heihachi uses fists.....Bottom Tier right away.

Spawn idk, I never read his comics nor did I have the xbox variant of SC II.

Necrid is Cheap, so he shud GTFO.

And by the way didn't Taki save Sophitia's ass in her fight with Cervy in SE?

Yeah but basically she fell unconcious after the fight from what i heard i don't even own SE.
 
Would it be fine to suggest "crossover" duels (battles between a Soul Calibur character and a character from a different game)? Aside from Heihachi, Link, Kratos, Necrid, Spawn, Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia and the three Star Wars characters, I was quite curious as to how the other non-Soul Calibur characters would fare in a duel against a character from the cast of Soul Calibur.

lets first see a list of characters that are extremely powerful compared to the other

1) Raphael since SC3 since he's a vampire , but probably still the weakest of all
2-3) Nightmare and Siegfried b/c they have soul edge and calibur
4-6) Vader, Yoda, Apprentice with force powers and light sabers
7) Zasalamel with his immortality and knowledge
8) Algol claimed to be the most powerful warrior. Also has BOTH swords
9) Kratos is a GOD.
10) Cervantes is an undead pirate. and he has a gun. Remember indiana jones? yeah. Cervy has a gun!
11) Yoshimitsu is a demon/spirit.
12) Astaroth is a golem

Now with placing them.
It is pretty obvious Kratos and Algol stand out. (well, some can argue on Algol, but you do understand that he has stuff comparable to force powers of SW chars?)
I'd place them as
1) Kratos
2) Algol
The rest is a bit hectic to figure out but I'd also put
3-5) SW characters , obvious reasons.
6) Zasalamel above the rest, well. He cant really be killed, right?
The rest of them are pretty equal except that Astaroth totally suck. So I'd bunch him in with other "normal" fighters.
 
Ummm I believe yoshimitsu can fly, heal himself, kill himself, catch swords with his feet, spit toxic barf on you, teleport, and did I say fly? I think all of those things would make him the winner hands down, or in his case one robotic hand and one real one.
 
I was talking with a friend a while ago about a similar thing. We were saying it's ridiculous how characters like Sophitia are the strongest. They've had no actual fighting training or experience yet they beat the shit out of everyone who has. Kind of annoying.

Oh and I dont think Yoshi is a demon or anything... isnt he just a regular man with a mask? Or at least nothing says he's anything like a demon... nothing really explains the soul-sucking and the teleporting though.

Cervantez can teleport, fly, send his swords out to attack you, and if for some odd reason you can fly umm 8A+K all over that ass.
