In fact, if I get 10+ parries off I consider it a win for me because I've compensated and shown myself a high level of play under the most adverse circumstances.
... Really? I thought a win is when the other guy is lying on the ground and it says
"you win".
People spam because it works. Show them it doesn't and people will either ignore you or stop spamming.
Most likely they'll just ignore you and spam someone else.
If you have a Mitsu that does 2KB repeatedly, that is spam. Jump/block punish every time.
If you have a Mitsu that does 2KB and alternates with 66BB, that is NOT spam.
That is an aggressive 50/50 mixup- which is what Mitsu is. Now, it may not have complexity, but regardless, it is not a move repeated over and over.
If you find a spammer, trounce him. If you find a 50/50 guy, compliment him on his simple yet effective tactic.
(Or you could beat him too if you see through his pattern, whatever you want.)
Regardless. You don't have to fight spam with spam. That's just detrimental to your own development.
... it goes without saying if you start getting 3 bars or less you should opt out, and should not have accepted in the first place.
And stop playing Ranked already. It sucks.
