According to Spman, Motempest tried to use an XCM adapter on his stick, and it had noticeable lag. That's all I can really tell you.

This converter was intended for the Xbox 360 controller anyway. Go read the description on TotalConsole.

*sigh* That's exactly what I wanted to know but didn't wanna hear. Hopefully the SF4 sticks will fare better but I wouldn't hold my breath.
 
Is this for only wired pads or does it work with wireless pads using the play and charge wire? I really only have wireless 360 pads :/

Edit - Asking this because only wired pads work on the PC. Wireless pads with the play and charge wire dont.
 
Ok I'm sorry this is kinda late but I think the adapter has issues registering directional inputs. I just tried it at a local tournament and I couldn't do SS/CS at all.

I get home and I have a near 100% success rate. Mostly just frame CS.

Something is fishy here.
 
Do you think nerves played into your input and that coupled with the marginal lag of the adapter caused those missed SS/CS's?

I doubt it. If he had something like a 50% success rate I might chalk it up to nerves, but if he's failing them every single time, I'm guessing the adapter has some issues.
 
Were you using the same controller? Its probably most definitely a pcb issue if you weren't, which explains the lag people are getting with sticks.
 
I'm sure people using a stick will notice lag. But what about everyone else just using a wired pad? I'd like to hear more feedback on that.

I used the same controller both at the tournament and when I got home. The only difference was the fact that I wasn't using the adapter when I got home.
 
ITS THE SHITPAD. the converter was FIXING the inputs you just weren't used to it.

This thing sucks, everyone at regionals witnessed it because... well I'm not really in the position to say (it's his story not mine). But yeah, don't buy this thing.
