Liquor

1. Vodka
2. Whiskey
3. Gin

I like how the FP is already a fail. :) Those are types of liquers, not brands. Brands of whiskey might be:
1) Knob Creek
2) Maker's Mark
3) Gentleman Jack Daniel's
4) Jim Beam Black Label

and so on. Oh wait, is that my list as well? ;)

beer:
1) Norteña (from Uruguay)
2) Baden Baden (sounds Germany but it's from Brazil)
3) Licher Weizen (Belgium)

Liquor
1) José Cuervo Tequila (Mexico. well... once I drank a better Tequila... but after 7 shots and beer and some other thing I didn't recognize... I forgot the name T.T)
2) Absolut Vodka (Sweden)
3) Sagatiba cachaça (yeah... THAT drink that is used for "caipirinha"... but it's better do drink pure... believe me)

My roommate is from Russia, so she (or her mother) brings real vodka occasionally. Can't recall any brand, but it's awesome. Smelling bread afterwards and shit. If all else fails, absolut is decent as well.

For beer, I used to live very close to Belgium, where the best beers are made. Heineken is crap and yes, that comes from a Dutchman. Great marketing though.

Whisky; I like JD.

wow, talk about crap, but gets the job done quicker.... why not add steel reserve in the black can

Ha. I don't drink that mess.

Usually I'm drinking on Corona, Bud Light or Miller Light. If Heineken was cheaper, I would be drinking on that, but after a few of those they start to get nasty.

If I knew the name of this raspberry beer I was drinking on a while back, that would be my favorite because it was tasty and had 13% ACBV. But any alcohol that is free will always be my favorite.

Liquor snob!

Beer
- Heineken
- Guinness
- Sam Adams

Liquor
- Jack Daniel's (nice to see some JD mentions here)
- Gordon's
- Suntory

I usually just drink straight up, but I will indulge in a cocktail every now and then when the occasional seems fit. Besides a Jack 'n' Coke, here are two more libations I enjoy.

Vesper martini (the drink of James Bond)
- 3 oz. gin (I think the Bond novels mention him using Gordon's)
- 1 oz. vodka (I go with 100-proof Stolichnaya)
- 1/2 oz. of Kina Lillet or sub dry vermouth + 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Shake over ice (duh), strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a thin peel of lemon zest.

Manhattan
- 2.5 oz. bourbon or rye (if you use Scotch whisky, it become a "Rob Roy")
- 3/4 oz. sweet red vermouth
- dash of bitters
Stir in ice, strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.

I only prefer Gay Man's beers... which are actually Lambics... but it really doesn't matter... beer sucks.

Lindeman's Kriek
Lindeman's Framboise
