Zwei Tech Trap Discussion

77K should almost never be your go to option, 44A is super short so be careful not to whiff that, and it would be tough to do 1A BE after 1A since it leaves you in a crouch position if I remember correctly.

It does leave you crouching but if you let yourself stand and see them trying to move 1K BE is handy. The reason i use 77K is because 44A is very short, i generally use 44A as a dodge for some attacks. 2B or 2K could be other light options.

Im not sure if this is new but for me it is.

4B > 3A is a tech trap on hit. Depending on distance it will catch all tech.

This is the first tech trap I ever discovered with ZWEI, it catches all techs except for ZWEIs left.

I'm assuming you saw me attempt this in the match vs KingWalker I uploaded a few days ago?

No I just randomly came across it in the lab. Its hella good though dude. 3A* gets pretty nasty in this trap.

I did some more testing and played a few matchs with it in mind.

4B > 3AA

-catchs to both side techs.
-If 4B hits close then 3AA will even catch Back tech which is the only way to normally escape this tech trap with a tech,
-4B > 1(B) catchs all back tech and hits grounded with Ein ready to go.
-Staying on the ground after a 44B grants a free 66A+B unless the roll right. 1(B) is guranteed if they dont tech.
