You have the power... The power to vote!

It was recently announced that OneFrameLink would be providing various pot bonuses for the new and upcoming major "The Fall Classic" taking place in Raleigh, NC, September 14 - 16. As if that wasn't already extremely generous of them, they have also announced that the remaining amount of funds (SSF4 and UMvC3 amounts are already determined) would be divided based on feedback from a voting system OFL created just for this announcement. SCV is included in this vote

As you all have probably noticed, this website has been down for a large part of today. This downtime was in order to update the XenForo platform we use to the most recent version. This post is to explain many of the new features you will find, as well as try to explain the current known bugs.

This is a rather large update so please be patient with the changes.

With the recent announcement of SCII HD Online, I am sure the majority of new players are concerned that old school players are going to be way ahead and wipe the floor with others. Whether or not this turns out to be true, Aris (WGC SCII Champion) was nice enough to make a guide to Soulcalibur II.

Everyone will have a chance to jump into the game competitively with a guide, thus make the learning process easier also. Aris will also be uploading more SCII videos in the future on his channel AvoidingthePuddle that will have tutorials and gameplay for other characters.

So there has been a furor during these past few days after it was discovered that Namco-Bandai filed a trademark for "Soulcalibur Lost Swords". Until now, we didn't really know what it meant. Companies file trademarks all the time, often just to cover themselves.

Could Lost Swords be an upgrade to Soulcalibur V? An RPG side-story like Soulcalibur Legends? Or perhaps a free-to-play version of Soulcalibur like Tekken Revolution? Well Namco-Bandai just wrapped up their Comic-can panel... and... nothing. No announcement of Soulcalibur Lost Swords. However, Namco-Bandai has announced an HD version of Soulcalibur II will be coming to PSN and XBL this fall.

Welcome to the Dark Side... or something like that.

I hope everyone enjoyed watching and/or participating at EVO, and of course congratulations to Kinetic, but it's time to get back to the strats! For this episode, I brought on an all-too familiar voice, the Canadian himself, Partisan, to chat a little Pyrrha V2.0. Not a lot of Omega players out there, so hopefully this helps those aspiring. Or, maybe you just want a little insider knowledge to better be able to beat her. Whatever your flavor, we got it. Enjoy!

It has been a long and exciting day of gaming at EVO 2013. Whether you got to be there in person, watched the live stream, or just checked online occasionally for updates, today's tournament has held most of us captivated and eager for results.

Coming out of the losers bracket, passing Norcal's Manta in losers finals and winning two straight 4/7 sets against Signia's Yoshimitsu in grand finals, Kinetic Clash (Viola, Ivy) of Arizona takes home the victory.
