On block it's a very possible to just blindly step and evade a lot of moves.3B 2K 6B and 6K all day.
I do this as well, I'm starting to like 6A Taki/Maxi range as well.
4K when the opponant isn't aligned to me, or likely to step and pokeoccasionally 4K and 6B+K.
6B+K as a spacing tool, I only use the standing high kicks like k/4k when I don't want to forward momentum punisher of 6BB/6A
Never used 6B+K
Raph can poke at slightly better range though :) I've rarely been outpoked by voldos.. I usually lose to a BT rushdownraph doesn't have the CF/poke game voldo has so wach out.
Voldo doesn't poke, he goes into constant strings and stance shenanigans. He's just got some vicious lows AND a throw game that makes him hard to deal with.
No real opinion from me here.. as both are moves you do when you're at great advantage or your opponant has frozen up.I still love 44AB and it has almost completely replaced 66A+B in my game.
I don't understand this at all, 66A+B moves you forward and gets Raphael's ONLY JUGGLE potential on hit, his sidestep A+B variants are situationally useful too, 44AB, whiled good in it's own right, ISN'T a replacement, 44A is a retreating swing and is short ranged, unlike the advancing 66A+B.
44AB prep is neutral on block.
Is this true? Prep A still trades with an i13 here.
and 44AB forces crouch so they cant step you. True
framewise SEA K is like 33KB on block ..be careful.SEA K is good at spacing BTW so im going to use that more.
It is, but SEA K isn't a great move, don't freakin drop SEA B for it.....
