How many of you are black/hispanic

i am Puertorean.

in other words, Half boricua, Half DHMG.
in plain english, Half Puerto Rican Half Korean.

but to be exact. Half New york rican, half seoul man.

but i am all two up, two down. yes. that's code for Virginia.
NOVA to be exact, and Kingstowne to be specific.

indeed.

oh and as a side note, it is one of my life's goals to meet another
Korean Puerto rican... because as it stands.. I'm a rare breed...
i have yet to meet another korean puerto rican and i know they're out there
but my god.. why are you people so hard to find?

Wait, if you're any part Korean you belong in Annandale.

Oh and I'm as white as the day is long.

So about 24 hours white then?

I'm Mexican and Irish. I'm going to assume compatible religions made this happen. Anyhow, saint Patrick's day and Cinco De Mayo are both mine, and I won't stand for wasps drinking on my days. Everybody else is fine, pull up a chair and we'll have some corned beef taquitos. I qualify as hispanic sure, but you probably wouldn't know it to look at me.

i don't belong in annandale. i belong right where I belong got damn... kingstowne, that's where the kings reside got damn.. fuck what ya heard. I lived forever around that Vandorn/s vandorn street ya heard? see me on Manchester blvd, stayin up in manchester lakes before it got known as manchester lakes.. shit..

i was living there for so long, i remember when beulah street was nothing more than a one lane forest road EACH WAY!!.. when fucking Bristol gables and Winsor gables were nothing but plans on paper...
walmart and all that shit you see there now did not exist. boy.. i can go back.. that 7-11 on beulah? IT'S OLD! WE GOT FUCKIN HISTORY!!! that 7-11 and I.. and don't make me go down that vandorn street got damn.. fuckin Landmark mall was my shit... boy........... mmm hmm... shiiiieet dont' get me started on springfield mall. I WAS THERE WHEN THAT BITCH OPENED ON GRAND OPENIN DAY! i was there when there were two time outs.. and remember when it used to be where the DMV is located now.. with the red and black squared carpetin...

i remember when annandale wasn't annandale and niggas had to go woo lae oak in DC for that Korean food.

MOTHA FUCKA MY FAMILY MAFIA! WE RUN THAT FUCKIN TOWN. annandale? all them moms and pops know us.. we walk in we get service. no questions asked. and we don't pay no fuckin fee.

note: *this post is in jest. for all the sensitive people out there would literally think i'm being serious... realize.. it's in jest... it is not that serious.... and yes.. i frequent annandale often.*

but for real.. a good portion of the store/restaurant owners at annandale do respect my family. we were there before korea town even existed.

So yeah. 40 minutes later lemmie say you got me deep in thought about the kind of things a man remembers and how we can claim we understand each other when we aren't walking around with the same test patterns. Is test patterns the word I wanna use? I guess it'll do. I've got a lot of memories I wanted to share, but I also have lunch and they're probably like dreams, fascinating to the dreamer but boring to anyone else so I'll get back to you on that if there's any interest. Seems everywhere though they're developing everything and convenience stores were always early and walmart always late. Where I lived we didn't have forest, we had scrub brush, I remember looking out at it on a sunset when I was maybe 10, my mom used to take care of foster kids and I went up jarupa hill with one of them and a distant cousin of mine who was living with us at the time. It's all a suburb named "southridge" now. They develop everything and it feels diminished, people come in who have no value for a place. I guess they find their own things to value eh? Where I live the winds get to around 40 miles per hour in the fall, the santa ana winds are ionized. Outsiders suffer from clinical depression when the winds hit them, I read about the increased murder rate ect ect in some psychiatric journal, to me it just feels like Autumn. Apparently the nose can pick up the ionization. So fall has a smell here. Anyhow thanks for the esotericism man, maybe not what you intended but it's always nice to peek inside people's heads.
