Ill have to try it more but pretty sure offline the Tech Trap after Deathcopter with 3AB or Delayed 3B was not working lastnight... Like i said things work online that dont work offline... also they were escaping the 236B unblockable but very few times! lol that set up does work... but if they lay there then they can roll out of the way easily get up and punish you as my friends caught on and started doing it to me... but then when they lay there they are going to eat 66B everytime... So its a good catch either way...
The 3AB or 3B after deathcopter i'm not so sure about... are you trying this out on the computer offline and telling them to tech then the second action is to block all? Just wondering...
Well one time it did work but I think the guy was trying to get up and hit me... lol I did 3AB to 6K into 9A+B,G
3AB, a:B+K into 236B and that whole string worked... = DEAD haha
Sorry i lagged out yesterday ? I havent had lag like that in a while maybe my connection just bombed out for a bit! either way the matches we had were fun look forward to next time... Just make sure if you do come up with these "Tech Catches" your putting the computer to Tech and Second action to Block all... thats how you will know for sure if they work ;) later!
Actually im going into training and setting the first and second command to block all and having them set to ukemi in certain directions. Trust me, it works offlife, swear to god. I NEVER test out ANYTHING online (Except for tekken move uses) unless I have tested it numerous times offline in training first or against my brother.
Ive noticed that alot of people tech roll to the right, however, which is prolly why your 3ab is missing. Try for the timed 3b, cuz that has a MUCH higher chance to hit right teching opponents than anything (Again, for teching to the right, the distance at which you hit them with the deathcopter plays a factor.) Anyways yeah, im sure not everyone will fall for 236b, but as I said before, I have seen cases where they roll and it still hits them somwhow, and they completely side step it, yet it still smacks em. But yes, I understand that it can be punished yada yada.
Anywho ya good games dude. Im looking forward to next time (Or if I EVER get an opportunity to play ya offline,) I get to play you. But for a hint, now that I know REF A tech punishes every direction, I use that now instead of 3ab cuz its easier to do, you get the DNK obviously, and it still has ringout opportunity (But its lacking the chance to get 236b as another trap afterwords.)
Oh and if you do the Super dragon fly strike, you get DRG k as an all direction tech trap as well (But you could always use the other traps as well, but you have to delay them just by a little bit for them to make contact.) Also FLE K tech traps all directions after that strike(except sometimes it randomly misses left for some reason) and can get you the air grab out of it for alot of aditional damage. There are ALOT more traps than these that I found out, but these are the most useful out of any of his after this.
