I still wish Snopes would cite their sources better so I could see the results of these blind taste tests without looking through all 5 sources they list. Footnotes, use them.

Not really. That's just something that coke would like you to believe. Research by psychologists, ad agencies and cola companies proves that in a blind taste test 9 out of 10 people will pick pepsi over coke. Remember the pepsi challenge? It's for real. Pepsi just tastes better, but if you ask people to pick a cola with the labels the majority will choose coke? Why? They have the image.

If you don't believe me read Martin Lindstrom's "Buyology".

You're not picking the cola that tastes better, you're picking the cola you think tastes better based upon an emotional reaction, not a logical or even a gustatory one. Brainscans have revealed how it happens and Lindstrom extrapolates upon how the subconscious affects purchasing.

So keep clicking coke, you sheep.

As a kid I drank both and I honestly prefer the taste of pepsi, did before I ever read Buyology. Of course RC cola actually tastes better than the other two, it uses real sugar which results in a cleaner, less syrupy flavor.

I picked coke because 1.) I grew up drinking it and 2.) They're the first soda to put VANILLA in it. :)
That drink was top tier!!!!
 
Coke. I think Pepsi is too sweet, and I like the extra fiz that Coke seems to have.

Why are people so adamant about their sodas? I mean I'm seeing people literally degrade other people because of their drink choice. Calm down people everyone's taste buds are different.

Now Panda pop...No scene of a British schoolyard is complete without images of school kids ripped off their tits on the additives in blue raspberry Panda pop and causing mayhem. I swear it's the leading cause of ADHD in England.

tag...u keep changing your name on here so I keep having no idea who it is -.- but yea. Vanilla coke beats them all easy. Although I don't drink soda anymore because its bad for the teeth. Coke and rum maybe...but thats about it. Milk, water, gatorade (only when playing basketball...water during practices, running, etc.), and maybe the occasional alcoholic beverage. And I guess I've picked up drinking ginger ale too cuz it helps when I'm feeling sicky :( . Always have to have a can or two in the fridge just in case (or to add to some whisky when ppl are over..lol).

I used to be a pepsi man though. I don't even know why. I think it was EVIL EMPIRE syndrome honestly. I liked pepsi because I didn't want to like coke. Also Sammy Sosa was (this is before he became the issue he was later in his career) a pepsi spoks. And I'm a chicago guy so I'm a cubs fan and so ba-da-bing... Pepsi was BUENO. So I have to probably put pepsi (but vanilla coke beats vanilla pepsi).

Also... all soda tastes 100% like ass when warm -.-
 
I picked Coke because I can only drink diet, and diet Coke with Splenda blows everything else away.
 
Dr.Pepper and Orange soda have been getting my attention a lot....

Hell yea !! I always used to drink it when it was out. Too bad its gone. :( Or is it ?? XD

And people actually pay this much. >:) I had a Country Donuts near me a year ago. They still sold Pepsi Blue.

I bought all the bottles they had left (About 7 of them for for $10), sold 6 of them on eBay and sold them for $50. $40 profit !! As for the 7th bottle, obviously, i had to drink one of them. XD. If you still see a place that still sells the stuff, cash in on it !! :D
