Taki's Replacement Revealed?!

This week Daishi has been teasing that he might do an early reveal of one of the two silhouettes posted about a week ago. He's been asking which of the two silhouettes people want to see most, and today he gives us an early look at a brand new female character!

Daishi has been rather glib on whether or not Taki would be returning. However, with the reveal of this character, it can be assumed that Taki may only play a secondary role in Soul Calibur 5.

Taki was like the alpha female of the group. You toss all the bitches into a inflatable pool and have them wrestle tits deep in chocolate pudding and taki will emerge the victor over 60% of the time.

 

Once more with feeling, EVERYBODY all together on the count of 3. 1........2..........3: THIS.........IS......... CONCEPT ART! YAAAYYYYYYYY! And not, EVERYBODY AGAIN: THE FINAL PRODUCT! YAAYYYYYYY!

 

She is not Taki, therefore, she is hated.

I really like her character design, except for the armour on her hips, which seem kind of useless. And her hair could be a tad less wild.
Other than that I approve. Just hope she doesnt have moves that are like Cassy's CF.

And she better not be Japanese...cause I would cry

but I can say, I've found my main. I hope her secondary costume is better

honestly, i think that Pat and Pyrrah should be named "siblings" respectfully for the predesessaors (sp) "sisters". Also, i understand that people are going to be upset that Taki might be leaving, but what's worse, Taki leaving, or her Weapon skill leaving altogether with no replacement? you all need to get your priorites in check if you do not want this community to end up the way it did back in SC4

lets all acknowledge the fact that her breasts are smaller and that compared to taki she seems more energetic which would make sense because she is a teenager.

 

To no surprise, everybody is wildin' out over the design of this new character. The only issue I have is that she doesn't look like a ninja.

I want to see how she looks in the game before I go heavy with criticism. Plus you can still customize your character, so it's not the end of the world.

I don't mind that Taki is being replaced. I just I don't like the way this bitch looks. Blonde, Smiling...about what bitch you're a fucking ninja. Costume is all over the place, and dem fucking shorts. Hell she doesn't even have the leg muscle to back up any fighting style.

To me Taki was our representation of a good female char, with the exception of her boobs. I put her up there with Chun li.

I don't like the anime look, traditional Ninja look please. Not this candy ass fruity shit.

Well, I'm obviously biased, but I like her. Yeah, she isn't very ninja, but neither was tits-bigger-than-own-head-ki.

Also, people need to avoid freaking out over character <insert> being not in the game. We've yet to say anyone is NOT in, right? Above all else, what matters is how well each on that IS in plays.

Well I like this new "Taki" If you will. I don't think it's a bad choice to start replacement. The game has to renew itself at some point. I don't mind taki being replaced, but I hope she does pay some tribute to the beloved Ninja
