its not like ill be getting SCV just for ivy but ive been looking forward to her been sorted in this one as all the other things will be,and if shes gonna be rubbish,or she will be ok but will be nothing that we want its going to severely put me off,plus tira most likely will be unplayable,im kinda expecting her to be in it but as the new bad guy or something

i contacted daishi again and said everyone doesnt want forced stance chance only we want to change during moves,and said wed make the wishlist if hed listen....its gonna be no good,just like last time when i tried to put suggestions through,i still think we really should make it,if we get a good amount of people hed be an asshole to ignore it i mean he replies to some other rubbish people send to him so if he doesnt take it on board,look it whatever hes a total prick,excuse me but its like were losing hope for ivy to be good and to get any suggestions through,he probably just doesnt want telling differently about what hes gonna put into the game and then us saying itll be terrible,im sure hes great really
like i said before i could make the thread if i had permission and guidance because i dont wanna give up yet,trouble is we woudnt just want anyone putting rubbish in the wishlist so wed need some rules listed at the top of the page or something,thats what i mean about guidance,ill need to know how to control it,and if someone posts rubbish the mods can just delete there post

ok so how about i put at the top,SCV ivy wishlist to send to daishi so no rubbish,and post the suggestions only nothing else,paragraph per person max and at most 5 ideas?everyone has to mention about been able to switch stances during moves as one of their ideas because its like theyve decided on not putting that in,unless neccesary to write keep in list form only to keep short and to the point for daishi,any spam posts,discussions etc will be deleted for discussions there is already a SCV ivy speculation thread or for if you want to discuss what you post on the wishlist before you do,and please NO posts about making ivy simpler or less complex,because we need to express the opposite because you need to be commited to get her strengthher been simpler now is excatly what we are scared about and how they might ruin her,so if you do not have 5 ideas please list this along with stance changes during moves so hows that?if its ok ill just need permission to do it,i thought id mention what i had in mind now since it make take a while for someone to reply

Excuse me, if what you mean by rubbish as in spam thats ok. Also everyone here who posts ideas have been constructive. Hope thats not what you meant. Also the mod has done a good job.
Just because they suggest its leaning towards SC1 it does not mean SCV Ivy is gonna be primitive. If you havent even played SC1 dont even talk like you know about it. Also calm down, nothing is ruined except for your own expectations. Wait until the time Daishi decides to ask for specific feedback, which is probably never gonna happen. And if he does not want to make Ivy the way we want, whatever.
Im not defending them just out of respect, but looking at Ivy through out the entire series bcos I have played all. She has never been trash in comparison to some chars that has been labelled "bad design". Im only asking ppl to be a bit more open minded and let it go. Goodbye SCIV Ivy. Its not end of the world. When SC4 first came out, we all had fun accepting the unknown. Sure there are dislikes. People left and some will stay.
Also, a simple ettiquette of posting, dont make more than two posts if no one has yet to respond. You can edit your post to add more detail.

Daishi does not reply to any suggestions that he likes or even dislikes. Kerrod has contacted him numerous times and he has not given feedback. And, IMO Ivy will be crap in SCV because they are making her "noob-friendly" which will completely ruin her as in SCIV you had to work harder to master her. And don't go talking like you know what SCI is like because Ivy wasn't even in it so don't even bring SCI into this thread.
Kerrod, don't worry but please post only 1 or 2 messages in a row and use the edit button instead of posting more messages. The moderators might pick you up for it. But don't worry because everyone makes mistakes.

ATIKC_MASTEX, I knew someone would be unhappy long before I press the post button. But I have to get to the source of why and what people are so afraid about. Im just as worried when the devs say "make her more simple".
People who are used to the way she play in SC4 ivy will cling into it dearly especially when their first experience is SC4. Im trying to point that in other series she is just as fun and takes effort to master. That is all.
Sorry if I sound like some elitist talking down at Kerrod. I just want to convince him to not freak out base on what was posted. He wants someone to agree with him that SCV Ivy will be horrible. I took the liberty of force feeding him with my ideas. Ok my bad. Opinions are like that.
Also excuse me, Ivy isnt in SC1? SC1 = soul calibur not soul edge. I did not bring this up, someone said "not this primitive SC1" and that ticked me off. Also when did I say Daishi will reply? Also is it alright if I use Kerrod's suggestion of ganging up with a group of ppl with pitchforks and knives telling Daishi to listen or else?

yeah i know,i didnt realise how badly it could have came across,im not trying to get any attention or anything daft like that,i just wanted to know if i could setup a wishlist,i dont want to bother anyone thats the exact opposite of what i want to do,same with getting someone to agree with me
i just have a lot to say on the matter,im worried and i need to calm down,i just wanted to try and get something going to grab daishis attention,all i was trying to do was do a decent thing in reality,but just came across very wrong,i hope this has cleared the whole thing up

i just really,really,REALLY!want to make an ivy wishlist to send off,i just want to see what will happen,i feel like a little kid,if i cant then please just say plain and simple i cant itll put me out of my tension,because after all no ones said i cant or can yet,though itll probably be no

since she will have 2 main states in SCV i hope SE i greatly worked on,and i still think she should have 1 or 2 claw moves whats the point of her having it if she doesnt use it,though its doubtfull she will have a claw move,i hope theres more to SE though but i cant see big improvements,it would be nice if SE was mostly redone it would give us some new movesd to discover,her main moves should stay but she needs a good amount of new ones to keep us interested
she needs to have new mixeups from these new moves and they could also combine with the old ones,one thing about sc4 was if you wanted to do a decent combo they would all be too similiar ending in CL 236B or SW 214K i would like to see greater variety in her combos,it would be fun making all different ones,i just hope simplifying her wont throw all that away for us
she also needs more chances to have small guaranteed damage,like you could use SW 2B+K
after SS which i saw in one of the SCV videos with ivy in,or using 214K after CS which usually works now buts its not guaranteed,and a guard break that guarantees a small hit after on block,

ive gotta say i wasnt before but with this video im pretty impressed with ivy,ive only seen old moves so far really but its good there keeping her main ones,(all these are current inputs obviously)
i noticed WP 3B now launches the oppnent to seemingly guarantee a combo after,unless its a counter hit but it doesnt seem like it is,if they improve the damage and make it more worth youre time it might be worth using SE 5 JF after that move since it seems like its a guaranteed hit
CL A,A+K is more usefull i only saw the second half of the move which was the attack throw,great theyve made this better
SE A,236A is better too!no unblockable it seems,but very fast since only the grab part is now included in the move

i got an update from daishi!he says that ivy is know closer to SC1 and 2 and her basic moves are in sword form,and can change to whip by holding down the button,so im guessing whip may have more advance moves and lets hope some new ones too,he says calimity symphony can be pulled off after a dash,stays it is still hard to do

Seeing the gameplay makes her not look SO bad, but it's definitely going to be very hard to adjust from awesome combos where you can personalize it to fit yourself (and then have everyone else steal it), to a forced combo..
I'm sure she'll be fine, but I really doubt I'll like her as much.. Hopefully I'll be fine with Patroklus.. (or Tira? :DDD)
