He....Looks...Amazing... there is nothing else that can be said! From his fighting style to his outfit, he looks AMAZING lol! But i mean c'mon, what else is new? Maxi has always been the shistuff! lol

I like you was at work when I found out to. having a shitty monday. Then I see chucks flying in the air, maxi catching them then "Dont stand in my WAY"......I had my "O-Face" on!!

Im really interested to see how all these new mechanics are going to effect his looping game. We now know that we have just gaurds, EX moves, CE moves. How will they incorperate? How will the give maxi frame advantage where he needs it. Can I cancel AA and go into stance and can I be safe as well if I wanted?

Holy shit I have so many questions. But for this moment. Just this moment right here. I will simply be gratful that we have or elvis impersonating, nunchuck slangin shit talker back in full force. and not some reskined clone either. ITS FUCKIN MAXI SON!!! HHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE

Maxi's coat looks pimp.

I was really hoping for a rugged, battle-worn Maxi, but I'll give Daishi a pass, just for bringing Maxi back.

I always dabbled in playing with this character, because he was fun. Maybe this game I'll pick him up more often.
 
The manliness can't be quenched. The LI AAB strings looks more vicious, flames!!!!

that ex combo doesnt actually look anything like LI AAB at all. i watched it about 50 times just now, and its like a left uppercut strike, then what looks a little like a quick WS A+B then the sc3 6A+B. he doesnt spin or do any of the animations we have seen before until the 6A+B. it looks completely new.

christ i really could have used some more footage. like seeing a B poke. im curious if they added range to the shit one he had in IV.

its nice to get this confirm so early on. now i feel like he will be in the rest of the released trailers.
 
I was already sold on this game but now im kidnapping a bunch of top notch scientist to build me a time machine to get to my main man Maxi sooner
 
Just my opinion but if i see another post that say Maxi SC5 Custom is Pimp Im going to lose my mine.. ARE U ALL SERIOUS THIS CUSTOM IS GARBAGE. Go look at his SC3 custom, this SC5 version is like a watered down version

Anyone who likes this SC5 outfit has no taste in cloths, hell i wouldnt hangout with u if you dressed like that lololololo:)

lol raging over an opinion of other strangers on the internet over an imaginary character's clothes. I don't actually have an opinion on the outfit but just because now I have incentive: I love the new design. BEST COSTUME EVER.

the shoulders are flaps now instead of the lion head shaped ones making it cleaner. then the nice dark red embroidered underneath. i mean i could have used a tail on the jacket or some more fur around the neck. but that stupid shit around his arm or the bell bottoms he had in 4, seriously was wack. it got away from what maxi 1P should be. stupid ass looking pointy toe shoes too in 4. maybe we can get the black and red and tiger outfit for 2P.

the holster is pretty sick though
 
Why are we having this discussion about what he used to wear. Everyone knows he was most pimped in 3. You know this. I know this. To top it off, Namco obviously knows this. Dis nigga is just looking straight SC3 pimp in SCV.

After 17 years he be look'n Andre 3K fresh and so clean. Maxi's 1p in SCV is what style is supposed to be and we can only hope his 2p, and other male outfits, are just as P.I.M.P. as this one.
 
His coat is just...awesome. :D

The only thing that I'm really curious about is how he managed to still look the same age.
 
We are lucky to get Maxi back after X getting replaced by her daughter. This worries me as Setsuka might get replaced :'(
 
The new outfit is a definite improvement over SC4. Those "old Elvis" bell-bottoms weren't working for me at all.

<------- Oh, and I'd like to introduce everybody to Yngwie Maxsteen. You might be seeing a lot of him if Namco doesn't fuck this up.

Indeed it does when i look at it again. The last hit really looks like a 6A+B. Hmm maybe it's a replacement?! well actually no, it's the 'super' so it might not be in his standard movelist at all.

As Maxi as here, that means Asta is also here so :)
 
Maxi is rather surprising. His story didn't really amount to much (Kill Astaroth!) and we had an obvious new nun-chuck user (Li-Long's kid).


Guess Li-Long's kid is 3-section staff if they do appear.
 
Maybe this time bad players won't complain about how he is cheap cause you *ahem* "Mash your way to victory (because they suck and can't play defense)".

....and maybe we might fix the national debt too, lol
