Ivy SCIV->SCV Changes

1. She was the worst in SC1, and now she's going back to the same style :)

Power wise:

SC2>SC4>SC:BD>SC3>SC1

I think SS is both A and B throw. It's just a normal throw turned into SS using half of the meter. By the way, i think in one video I saw the same thing with Natsu. I think every character can use BE to increase the power of their throws.
SC1 is the one game I never played ~_~
As for BE throws - Asta's 2B+G can now do EVEN MORE DAMAGE @_@

I've just realised how off topic this thread is now - oops, lol.
Shall we continue the discussion on the Asta board, Babalook? =)

SCV demo will be coming on Oct1st-2nd to a tourney venue BAM where Im going. <3

Although Synraii will beat me to it @ London Expo..... First thing for me to try: movesets; stances; brave edge; and butter churn for new command throws lol.

@Davo: When you go to test the demo:

-Can you please confirm if we have any combos from 22K?
-Also can you make sure that either A grab or B grab can be turned into SS, and how much damage it does?
-Can you test if there is SW WS B (Probably will be FC 1B again)
-Are there ANY safe mids that launch for at least 50 damage?

Try to comment on the overall feel of Ivy. Does she feel strong? Weak? In the middle?

Sorry for so many requests. xD

I hope ring is wrong because if not I'm afraid ivy will turn out as boring as she sound in his post. I hope that there is a commad version of ss and the be version even though the new command looks really annoying lol.

More news:

- SW 22_88B doesn't seem to give anything guaranteed on NH. Same for old CL 3B. So no more launching on NH, just like in SC3.
- SW 3B knocks down on normal hit again
- 22_88K has no guaranteed followup? Let's pray that's not true.

To me it seems like there are also two versions of WS B, if you hold down B you will get old WP WS BB, if you don't you will get a new move which can be seen in another video. WS B alone seems to launch higher than in SC4Hopefully her staple WS B (old FC 1B) is still in the game.

I'd like to know if Ivy has any safe mids that do 50 or more damage on normal hit.

I hope she doesn't devolve into a really basic character with an average poke game and a slightly above average throw game.

ugh why do they keep all her flashy, useless attacks and none of her strong ones? So far all I've seen that is good is BB, WP 6B+K, CS, and her CE.

Anything else decent?

I don't know the notation, but I think it's 22_88B into 5 hit JF. This is the only move so far that appears to have guaranteed damage on NH. CL 33BBBBB looks ok, too. Strong pushback, maybe has BE as well. But that's all.

But fear not! We have got WP 11A back! We are saved!

They have combined her two worst disadvantages (lack of stances (SC1) and damage on NH (SC3)) into one =/ I can't believe it.

No... *chokes*... stances?

*puts on Vader helmet*

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

You didn't think they'd let her be as strong as she is in IV did you? If she does take a nerf, I might just play her more seriously. =/
That said - if you're right it does sound a tad extreme...
