Oh, man. Final episode of Code Geass R2:

Wow, so Lelouch had it planned all along, eh?

I feel bad for him.

It's not like Yagami Light where he completely lost his way and ended up deserving to die. He had a pretty good cause/reason for doing the shit he was doing; just so happens that Geass has a way of turning things very wrong. And all the wrong shit kept piling up, and I guess the only way he could repent is to die.

Overall, a decent anime. Could have been godly if there wasn't that whole dispute/feud with the writer and the broadcasting network, but meh. Shit happens, that's life.

RIP Lelouch, you were the fucking man.

PSYCHE! That sumbitch is immortal! He inherited the Geass Code from Charles and that's him sitting in the fucking cart lololololol

EDIT: Check spoilers again

Buso Renkin was good, but it was also a blatantly obvious Bleach knock-off. Don't get me wrong, I like Bleach so I have no problems with a Bleach knock-off, but a little creativity couldn't hurt, either.

Actually it's a show that takes the piss out of shounen anime in general. It's probably not exactly obvious because it's got a decent story and characters though. Papillon is awesome.

I really hated him at first, but he was actually kind of cool by the end of the show. Definitely a good character.

@SWBeta--I agree with your synopsis of Code Geass. I agree with you even more about Gunslinger Girl. Still pisses me off.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry or pop a vessel..

Where's the facepalm pic when you need it...

I can see it now, 2012: Naruto the Movie, Shia LeBeouff casted as Naruto.

just got my shana dvd boxed set, apparently its been picked up by funination now and comes in a thinpak.

Cool, I just FINISHED My Shana box set. It was a really good series and I loved it but I can kinda see why Jaxel would say that it is shitty a page or two back: Vague doesn't begin to describe this anime!

I hope Season 2 comes to states soon, anyone know if the American voice actors will be different from season 1?

Just know part of Season 2 is consumed by a love square (3 girls, one guy!) that tends to be a love/hate with fans. I didn't mind it but others hated it.

I think I missed that but yeah, I was out hunting for the big box, I really hate thinpaks, every one I've bought has had a few of the tabs that hold the dvds in broken so when I get the damn thing atleast one of the discs is loose and sliding around inside. In the end I had to go out and buy empty dvd cases just to store what I got in the thinpaks.
I know what you mean, my boxsets for Scryed and .Hack/Sign are in those crappy paperbox things ... charge somuch money for the set you would think they coudl atleast make a good case for it instead of a bunch of cardboard crap that falls appart and messes up the DVD's you just dumped loads of money on.

Yep, exactly what happened to my Shana boxed set. 3/7 discs had scratches on the back because the little tabs that were holding them inplace broke and the discs were bouncing around during shipping.

On another note, fall season looks alright so far with Chaos;head, gundam 00, and Toradora (kugimiya ftw). Akane-iro another kugimiya series looks alright but not as promising as the previous two. Theres a Higurashi OVA on the way and S.ifr ep 3 comes out in november.

The Japanese VAs are the same, but I couldn't tell you about the English ones. I just found my box set on Sunday.

And am I the only person in the world who never saw DBZ? It always just seemed boring to me.

During shipping?! OUCH! That sounds like something you should complain about. A few tabs broke because I think I was a little rough when taking the DVD out... Oh well I'm just glad to have it as part of my collection.

I'm thinking about other stuff to add to my budding anime collection but I'm not sure what to buy yet. I know I'm gonna buy the re-released Yu Yu Hakusho set but I was also thinking about Fate/Stay night and Blackcat <--- Can anyone tell me if this anime is good or not?

I can't speak for Blackcat (although previews I've seen make it look good), but Fate/Stay Night is amazing. It was good enough that I bought it the very first time I saw it in the store. Hell, the release date was even marked on my calendar. It has everything an anime needs: great characters, great fights, comedy, and a moving story. Buy it now.

Ugh, I always wanted to watch Gundam, but it's just too huge. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
