Good vids... I like the idea of going into WL after BB hits. That gives more frames to attack characters that may interrupt WL like Cervy and Kilik, so I'll have to try that.

I think the WC B:B may have whiffed because of a slight hesitation. If you look closely, Talim stutters a bit at that part.

This probably could have been asked in the General Discussion thread...

But I sometimes reserve it for when the foe is just getting up off the ground. I think it helps to get a general feel for how your foe likes to attack and go from there.

Unfortunately, its not that simple. Even if you use it at advantage, most character's BB will still hit you out of it.

Sadly you got to take the good with the bad. It kind of reminds me how I'd love to play Akuma in CvS2 but his disadvantages kind of outweigh his advantages. If you use characters such as those, you really need to be on top of your game and will hopefully make you a much stronger player, imo

Here's the vid of me using Talim in the last tournament:


Forgive my combo and just frame failures.. I have no problem doing them online, and that really screwed up my input buffering offline.. because of that my Talim looks sloppy. I've stopped playing online though, so my next offline tourney videos should be much better.

Awesome work! I like your unblockable cancels, and that multipart near the end of the the tourney was well setup.

I need about 30 minutes in training mode after playing online before I play offline to get the JF timing back. You have to execute stuff a lot later than online, but I'm starting to adjust faster.

Once again, nice video and congrats on the win.
