why is the video thread locked? and where are all the videos being posted?

i know this game is new... but i would assume an explosion of videos by now. and where can i find a list of all these stance abbreviations?

and can i plz request the mods wake up and update the siegfried threads aleady?

1. All prerelease videos, they're void now
2. SCH- Siegfried Chief Hold
SSH- Siegfried Side Hold
SRSH- Siegfried Reverse Side Hold
SBH- Siegfried Base Hold

kaz players AND sieg players? i guess im in good company.

yea i know prerelease vids are void. so ppl gotta upload new ones and a mod needs to unlock the video thread. why would it be locked anyway?

kurai do you have skype? i have some questions id like to shoot by you sometime. im sc5 noob

Yeah, some Sieg combo & mix-up demonstration videos would be awesome.

spidey- yea I`ve noticed you can't just buffer a 11_77_99_33 move without steeping just a little before an attack. It suck be eh.

Alright I`ve picked up a secondary in alpha patroklos (he is alot of fun) and seeing his punishing potential, he is going to be one of those characters thats going to give sieg a hard time, I mean yea its just like fighting a sc4 sets but I had no idea that FC 3a~b was that damn good (there really were not that many good sets that I have met on the EC). Yea he can punish 99% of sieg's lows with that move and not too mention 66B if you are too close among other moves. My advice, pick a top 5 move set that is safe to somewhat safe and stick with those guns with very little flash here and there (unless they cant block worth a damn)

and also sieg can get some pretty decent wall damage, hell doing {A} SSH K *wall* 6K *wall* 22_88 BB did around 90 and thats without meter.

I like Alpha Patroklos as well but I will not use him seriously. (Curse them JFs) Thanks for the pointers on sieg

Yeah man I have skype. I've literally used it like twice, though, so you may have to help me out here too, lol. Unfortunately my funds are a little meek at the moment (saving up for Winter Brawl) otherwise I would have bought streaming/recording equipment by now. For now all I have is that teensy PoS cam that I recorded the Rain vs Kane "slips hit the PS button" match from Norcal Strong Style 4 back in '10...


Just to give you an idea of the quality you'd be expecting, lol. If that's all good to you guys, then I could make a demo vid on pretty much whatever. iaGA, combos, mix-ups, what-have-you. Think you'd be down? Also, the vid above is pretty amusing if you watch 01:50 - 04:25. I mean I thought so anyway... you can hear me giggling like a bitch.

Shoutouts to Filthie screaming like a crazy person in the background after 4:25.

so Phunny and kurai playing sieg, sweet to see the tekken players coming on over. Its funny theres no relation to the characters we used in tekken though, a kaz, law, and marduk

Make no mistake: My first tournament game was SCII back in '02. I went over THERE from soulcalibur.com forums, lol.

The 'i' means instant. It means the fastest possible command for a given move.

Made a video explaining Siegfried's stances. Find it in the video thread, which is unlocked. Yay :D

why do you guys think sieg is so bad, i have trouble beating the cpu with nightmare on legendary souls, i get less than a minute for everyone but sieg messes up my time.
 
I’m not sure if I may discuss this in this thread, however I was rather disappointed that the thread debating about sieg’s nerf/buff was locked because of an argument between an admin and a frequent poster. Moreover, I was surprised at how discourteous the admin was; it was rather unprofessional of the admin to respond in such a rude manner. Usually a site that takes a game as serious as this has the onus to be presented in a professional manner, I find that lacking from time to time throughout this site. I was actually quite pleased with how polite and friendly the community was when I first created an account on this site and how quickly and thoroughly the responses were to my questions in fact, Synraii, if I’m not mistaken was kind enough to make a video in reply to my question, I was taken aback by such a gesture…it was refreshing to see such mannerisms. There really isn’t a point to this statement aside that to abuse one’s privilege of acting admin of this site by locking a thread based on an argument or a disagreement is unprofessional and I was really looking forward to reading a civil debate on what I thought was an interesting topic.
