I agree with CH WR B getting its AT property back. It was pretty much my favorite move. I also miss JS 2A+B. And I haven't played a lot of SCV yet, but Tira can't get as much meterless damage as she could in SCIV because of the loss of GS 44B, right? Also JS 1aK...
 
GS 44B... trying to think what that was... was it the same as JS 11/44/77B? Another one of my favourite moves because of the extra damage on CH. Now that Zas isn't in the game, Tira might have the most moves with extra animation. Though I'm not that familiar with most of the cast so I could be wrong :P

GS 44B was a weird move with no range that i never found any use for, except maybe whiff punishing but... it's very punishable itself. it also had a stun.

sigh i launched sc4 now and i kinda liked the sc4 tira better than the new one? weird. (talking about design and voice acting here, not gameplay..)

JS 2A+B is missed, i liked it a lot. anyway, I can't really see a patch adding new moves. they'll probably just tweak the damage and that's it. maybe add some stuns (would be much appreciated, she is supposed to be a combo reliant character...) and remove/add bounce properties from some moves .
 
GS 44B was her only decent stun back in SCIV. The starter for her most damaging combos. I think she could reach the 90's with the opponent against a wall.
 
yeah but it was really unsafe, i prefer the 6K stun to be honest
but then again, i didn't really combo with sc4 tira, it was more of a poking game for me
 
Oh! Now I remember, the one where she kinda twirls her blade around in front of her then jabs with it, also had GI properties but they were pretty shit. Yeah was a bit of a combo video move and not really something you'd actually use. I never played SC3 but her current GS 44B was lifted from it. Gained a few cool new moves but lost many more :(
 
New GS 44B is a freaking great addition. TC, big damage, might seem like a low to some and also builds a lot of meter (even on whiff).

I wouldn't mind Tira getting a decent unblockable through this new patch (would they change something as major as that?). IIRC she only has 6A+B and it sucks. Something along the lines of SCIV's 4[A+B] but with a nice speed would be great.

Tira does need a decent unblockable. I don't like how you can backstep and quick step right to avoid Tira's only unblockable. She also needs better lows. Doesn't Natsu's 1A do more than Tira's JS 1A 3B? It's super fast AND it hits grounded. Tira needs help.. lol

That's not because Tira's low sucks so much as Natsu's has ridiculously damaging. Natsu's 1A hits way too hard for what it does. Her slow lows are really only a problem in JS. In GS, she can get by without the faster lows. I'm kind of curious about all these "changes" the patch is rumored to give. I'm still worried they'll do more bad than good to Tira.
 
Not having JS 2A+B seems to have nerfed her low game as well, at least that's how it feels to me :( 236K isn't that great but the BE version is so makes up for it. At least all the new moves they gave her feel like they all have a use, only quite a few of the ones taken away were good too :(
 
Yeah. I hate how Jolly doesn't have 2A+B anymore. I hate her 3A. It should be faster if it's going to be so stupid. :/
Her lows are too slow. I have nothing to lean on when I need all the help I can get. :/
 
I do think that 3A in JS is an obvious buff. It probably will happen or a horizontal mid buff in the form of 66AA or 33_99K.
 
I was just saying, when I'd normally try to do Gloomy 2A+B after a move that changes me, Jolly 3A usually is what comes out. It's just a stupid mid. 66A.A is way good, but super unsafe. It should have pretty severe pushback on block if it's going to be that unsafe. 22K is a stupid mid IMO.. And I can't remember 33K.. I thought it was just the 66K for both states.
 
I can't be 100% sure playing online, but I think JS 66A.A is safe-ish vs the really short range characters and if you space it right so you just catch the second hit at the tip
 
66A.A has very little pushback and is 3B punishable by most characters. :/

Edit: Oh! Does Jennifer Hale still voice Tira? I don't think she wants to take credit for it, or whatever, for some reason 'cause on her website, she doesn't have a Tira clip of any size in the "animation/games" link video. It's unfortunate.
 
It sounds like her to me, especially Gloomy. The new Jolly only sounds a little bit like her though, not a voice I'm familiar with. IMDB doesn't credit her for the role and has only three actors listed for SCV at all(Lowenthal/Minella/Mercer). The eternally questionable SC Wiki hosted by Wikia lists Hale as her only English actor as well, but then yeah...
