Dampierre has a few:
- This is pretty well known by now but mashing directions and buttons during certain throws (B+G, PB throw and PB B) will increase the random chances of more hits. With PB throw_B the opponent can counter mash just with directional inputs. In regards to the final two hits to the face or Dampierre inflicting self damage, that's random also, but the chances of Dampierre successfully landing the hits decreases as more punches are landed prior.
- If Dampierre gets wallsplat (either own his own or the opponent wallsplatting him) he will transition into his PB stance.
- He has 2 versions of his left side throw, one that leaves him in PB and one that doesn't. The movelist states that's random, but in fact it's not. You can control which one comes out. Just grabbing them normally on the left will always cause the PB version to come out. If you want the non-PB version to come out you have to mash during the throw. However, there is a glitch in which the opponent can break out during the middle of the animation. The throw break window will only open up if you mash to get the non-PB version. The button used to break is dependant on what the original throw was, so if Dampierre grabbed with A+G, and then mashes, the opponent should mash A to break mid throw. The reason I call it a glitch is because it looks weird since the standard throw break animation is used even throw the opponent is on the ground before it happens. I've known about this since the PSP version, and when I met SCV director Daishi Odashima (who created Dampierre) I showed it to him, and he just started laughing hysterically as if it was the funniest thing he's ever seen (he doesn't speak english). So since he left it in SCV I'm assuming that it's an intentional glitch... either that or I got trolled.
- WR A+B~G. The movelist doesn't state this but his WR A+B UB can be cancelled. I find this one to be interesting because when I met Daishi I gave him some feedback on the PSP version of Dampierre. I told him that I felt his WR A+B UB was shit especially the input, because many times when I would try to do 623B ~ RCC A+B the UB would come out if I screwed up the RCC. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it could now be cancelled in SCV. The other complaint that I gave him was about his 44K, which is a single barrel roll that barely does any damage. I told him that it sucked and that it would be better if he could do 3 rolls instead like Revenant in SC3. Imagine my surprise when I finally got SCV and found that it can now do 3 rolls with a BE. :)
