[Arizona] AZ and friends!

I just found out I won't be able to work this weekend, so looking to get some casuals in if possible. Is anyone planning on hosting this weekend???

im gonna start casuals at my place this up coming weds from 9pm until whenever my address is 45 n phyllis apt #203 mesa 85201, pm me for my number
I will probably be able to make it out of there, pm me your number. I needed some human practice in, I haven't been able to play online for a long time now. I have been playing with the CPU a lot lol.

sorry, Saturday is a no go. UAT are resurfacing their halls so we can't do anything for the weekend. again sorry.
It's just as well, ya'll weren't ready for my leveled up Voldo anyway. I've been using advanced training techniques such as "Don't play the game for a week, and hope sudden inspiration comes to you on how to improve your game." Using this expert methodology, I had an epiphany of "Stop using unsafe moves, punish your opponent's unsafe moves, and don't eat the same ZWEI move over and over again every time without fail." So clearly, I am now an unstoppable monster. I'll give you guys another week or two to catch up.

If the venue fee was solely because of the cost of Ceasar's Palace, I wouldn't complain. But I know for a fact that Evo could easily afford to run this year and charge half that price (and probably still make a profit). I would be shocked if Evo cost more than DEV 2011 did.

Dev 2011 still hasn't finished handing out all their prize money (if they ever plan to finish), so maybe they should've made tickets more expensive -.-.

They most certainly do plan to finish, and it's a bit insulting that you would imply they might not. Also, it has nothing to do with the cost of the ticket. Multiple sponsors dropped out at the last minute so Robb is paying people out of his own pocket (since that's faster than legal action). That's also why he hasn't announced DEV 2012.

It was meant to be insulting XP. I kinda needed the money I won a while ago. But I really don't mind that it's taken this long. I do mind the fact that they said we could "touch base" whenever we wanted, and they never respond to my emails. So I assumed I just wasn't going to get it. However, the fact that you said they certainly will is relieving, and I will definitely apologize once my brother and I receive prize money.

could everyone hit me up with a text if you plan on coming around tomorrow, plan on starting around 9pm. also if you could bring set ups i only have one and i have a monitor but theres no speakers

do to shift changes and how busy Ive been I will not be able to make tomorrow's gathering or possible future events unless it is the weekend since I`ve been getting off at 1am. sorry fellas. I`ll still be practicing for out of state tournaments

What exactly did you and your brother win at Dev? it wasnt one of our fighting games. And, granted its been longer, it is and has been posted on the site that all payments are made no sooner than 90 business days after the tournament.

But as bryan stated, sponsors dropped out last minute, who were responsible for providing the money for some of the prizes.

Instead of Robb taking legal action against them which could take years, and tell the folks "sorry" in the meantime and allude to the ongoing legal activities, he instead opted to pay people out of his OWN POCKET.

i wanna thank everyone that came out last night, had some good matches. seeing improvment in jimmy's crew, sorry i forgot all your names, im horrible with that

I'm back from Vegas, sorry I missed the last gathering. Doesn't look like we'll have a Manawerx tournament tomorrow, but I'm thinking maybe something at my place on Friday night?

I'd like to get a tournament going, but we'd definitely need 2-3 additional setups. Thoughts?

Also... just watched the World Tournament. What a terrible stream. I would've liked a more "classy" stream. I felt like it was too underground. I also noticed that the Japanese ZWEI player went 0-2 despite his opponents not knowing the matchup. Thanks for that *huge* buff in the patch Namco... >_>
