Siegfried Q&A / General Discussion

It does have situational uses. If you find yourself in crouch and don't want to trisk messing up RCC~B+K, you can substitute with 66A. 66A will also usually lead to more dmg in situations where B+K will TC a high instead of auto-G.I.ing it.

I just tested this find

SBH aGI works vs
Pyrrha 8B+K or 8[B+K]
Pyrrha Omega 8B+K or 8[B+K]

SBH aGI DOES NOT WORK vs
Leixia 2B+K, AA,A+B+K,K
Cervy 2B+K
Nightmare 2b+kBE
Asta 22kBE

If I forgot any quake stuns, feel free to let me know.

Yoshi has a SDF 2B+K which I really doubt would work since it hits pretty quickly after the quake but it might work.

Hey sorry for double post but on the topic of SBH auto-gi versus quake stuns you can run under Pyrrha while she is doing 8B+K go into BT SCH its impact works too SCH B jagA into wall combo of choice/ringout. Looks great.

I've been playing against a fellow Siegfried lately and i see him doing two rather unusual things after SCH K BE, which i would like to know what you think about their viability.

First of, he likes to use 3(B) ~ SCH K BE ~ B6, followed by a 3(B), which sometimes connects, although i wasn't able to figure out when exactly. I guess its range and air tech dependant. If it does, you get more damage than usual and even if it doesn't, you are at least in a quite comfortable situation.

The second thing he uses is 3(B) ~ SCH K BE ~ 2(B) ~ SBH K BE. It is air techable but its not that easy for the opponent. Seeing that you get almost 100 damage for only 2 BE's (which is pretty awesome for sieg) it might be worth trying. It also rings out like a beast.

So what do you think, viable options?

Not sure about the first one (as i couldn't figure out when it connects) but against the second one ukemi does not work at all. The SBH K BE catches them in the air and moves them forward midair (which is also why its pretty good at RO).

Still no opinions? Lame :P

I tried to incorporate the second combo into my game in the past two days and it did pretty well. Imo it fills a little gap for having 100% meter post 3(B) which makes the move even more versatile. Gives you an option for pretty much every amount of meter:

0% meter: 3(B)~SCH K = 39 dmg
50% meter: 3(B)~SCH K BE~iaga = 76 dmg
100% meter: 3(B)~SCH K BE~2(B)~SBH K BE = 96 dmg
150% meter: 3(B)~SCH K BE~CE = 108 dmg

Edit: A little bit more insight about the teching.

3(B)~SCH K BE~2(B)~SBH K BE can only be air teched with: forward left and backward right. When the opponent techs left or backward left, it will only partially connect for 78 damage.

3(B)~SCH K BE~B6~3(B) connecting, doesn't depend on neither range nor ukemi.
However it is a char specific combo and works on specific air teching directions. Out of the ones that i tested, it didnt work on leixia and mitsurugi and it worked against tira and asta
for the following air tech directions: none, forward, forward right, right and backward. It actually covers more than i thought.

I did give your brave edge combo a go I quite like it I am just trying to get my jagA down well so every time I use SCH K BE i keep going for the jagA currently.
